Big no. If Gen 3 can get destoryed like this with no heads or tail story then what guarantee that Gen 4 doesn't also crash and burn the same way? Just shows anything can be written and anything can be shown to twist the narrative for the PH's ego and favor of whatever they want to show even when it doesn't make sense in the story.
