Yeah in precap she goes like you marry for love or family. Abhi and Akshara’s marriage was to give their son a normal family.
Now that she is pregnant with Abhinav’s kid, the marriage doesn’t just include only Abhir anymore, it’s not normal anymore because their will be a kid from her dead husband also.

Yeah Manjiri has never talked about physical relationship of Abhira - some people just saying that to create parallel of Swarna telling Akshara to give Abhinav’s haq as a husband in their 6 years of marriage- which is messed up because Manjiri never said anything relating to physical anything.

Also, going by promo- it doesn’t matter what Manjiri said. Abhira seem to be doing court marriage in Promo, they are moving forward with their marriage meaning Abhi has accepted the child and Akshara wants to still marry him. She had a photo frame of Abhi and Abhir and was touching her belly- meaning she is seeing them as a family of four.

I like your analysis and agree with all of your points, but there is def more to the scene than what is shown in the precap. I am sure Manjari isn't saying kill the baby to marry my son. Nor has she ever talked about them having a physical relationship. Her only point even with that conversation was for Ak to acknowledge that Abhi loves her, so this is not a friendship shadi because it cannot be. If Ak feels she cannot reciprocate his love, then she should back out of this relationship. That was her point. But oh well, people want to turn everything into something absurd.

Also, Akshara was very hypocritical while talking to Abhinav saying that Abhir wants a normal family with Mumma and Dadda but he doesn’t understand that parents need to love each other. Like she is the one who taught Abhir that normal happy family is Mumma, Papa, and Abhir even though Mumma and Papa don’t love each other and are in a namesake marriage. Now that she fell for Abhinav and he is gone, she realizes what normal family is? She didn’t think about that for the past 6 years when she was living in a lie🤔. Conveniently now she is a strong, independent, single mother but past 6 years back that thought never occurred, then a father was needed for Abhir as life would have been hard for him. Her son is only throwing back the stuff she taught him.

And this is the hypocritical and inconsistencies fans have with Akshara’s character. Everything they wanted for her during leap now they are trying to give when it makes no sense.

Now Akshara is pregnant with Abhinav’s baby- so Abhinav will always be in their lives in the form of the baby. Akshara is the who brought up marriage proposal to Abhi after 2 months of Abhinav’s death - where he kept asking if she is sure, not to agree under anyone’s pressure . Akshara herself decided she wants to give 100% to this marriage, be actual husband and wife- while Abhi is shown to have no expectations from her. This why in Haldi, he again said please let me know if you don’t want this wedding.

When Goenka family brought up Abhira marriage, I clearly remember Manjiri saying she will leave it up to them, she won’t interfere in their marriage decision. Then she even asked Akshara to convince Abhi to move on with someone else as she is worried her son will be alone. Never did Manjiri be like to Akshara please marry him. Goenkas and Abhir are the ones who pressured Akshara, Birlas all didn’t even talk about the marriage with Akshara- they only talked to Abhi and that was it.

Manjiri is definitely wrong to tell Akshara to choose between baby and Abhi, but she isn’t wrong to worry about her son’s happiness.

Ultimately decision will be Akshara’s because it’s her baby and her marriage.

Lol she has contradicted pretty much all of her statements by now so it's not worth dwelling on anything. She has invalidated this leap and Nav in her statements and behavior as well. Aur kuch hai hi nahi. At this point we all know that her Nav decisions was just to spite Abhi for rejecting her. That's it. It's all been spite and hatred for eight months. Now suddenly she is over all of that cause Abhi said sorry many times and returned Abhir. So now she is saying all this nonsense for Navra relationship.

Okay all points are 💯 valid. I want to hold my reservations against promo manjari dialogue until I see the full context. I hardly doubt she would be suggesting abortion. If she is, she is wrong. Period. Given the context of this shaadhi, the reason behind it, it’s all messed up as it is to begin with. Friendship shaadhi Abhir keliye shaadhi..! And to add a pregnancy on top of it, abhi has already bowed, broken and bent. I would say politely call out the farce and let abhi choose his decision.

Kinda sad you also agree. That means there really is nothing redeeming left about her. I don't understand why they did this to sweet Akshu. In my mind they are still different people. I feel like both OG Abhi and Akshu died on white day. Abhi was only physically living to get the full blow of his mistakes and see this new Akshara which he had a part in making. He has become a completely different person now but held onto his core character and still loves Akshu just as much as he did in the beginning some nine years ago. Akshara on the other hand has a long way to go still before becoming a somewhat decent person again.
