I don't know what kind of person he was for akshara , but he didn't have any self respect nor he cared for his family's respect. Even after being insulted and manhandled by the crush's family repeatedly , he chose to remain welded to that house anyway.

This was the initiation of his 'getting disrespected by in-laws' phase. Goenkas became aware that this person is submissive material and isn't concerned about the self esteem blinded by his infatuation for akshara.

Goenkas have a long family history of office romances and second marriages. Oh and mental heath issues are also there in their family history I guess - Kartik's birth mom had some mental problems and that is why Manish ended up gravitating to his secretary Swarna ji

So they can repeat that story on Kairav if they want.....Muskaan is deffo giving deranged vibes these days and this might end up making Kairav fall for his office colleague for real

LOL yes, Swarna was Manish ki secretary ....she is Kartik's stepmom. Kartik hated his dad for a long time cuz he thought that his father cheated on his mom and married his secretary Swarna...this is why he didn't accept Swarna for a long time too.

I don't remember the story clearly now cuz I watched those epis of gen 2 a while back but from whatever little I watched, Kartik's mom was mentally ill and Manish was struggling to manage their two kids and protect them from her whenever she was having her fits and all....but Kartik misunderstood this and thought his mom committed suicide since she thought Manish was cheating on her....lol apparently at that time he wasn't having an affair with Swarna....they were just office colleagues...they got together later after Kartik's mom died. Kartik's older sister Keerti still easily accepted Swarna as her mother but Kartik didn't for a long time......only Naira the miracle bahu got him to accept Swarna as his mom

Oh there are MANY colorful stories in the Goenka family history ....they are literally the most gutter family of this show but makers have coddled them the longest

As someone mentioned earlier, Manish's younger brother who is lovingly being called "AG AG" by these dumb Goenka sisters now....lol that guy cheated on Surekha with a girl half his age....but then he was easily forgiven by the family a few months later and brought home by Kaira only. Then Surekha and this AG ke kids are all ek se badhkar ek.....that Mansi who did hit and run and killed OG Akshara...lol, then those twins Luv-Kush who grew up to be creeps who molested a girl.....Kartik beat them up pretty badly in front of the whole family for that.

The great Mimi ji ne toh itne kaand kiye hain to torture and insult Naira that it's hard to even keep count

This is the stock that Goenkas children have come from and they all still have the guts to try to judge Birlas.....Manjiri is literally an ANGEL in front of all these Goenkas but people still bash her like she's some devil

I watched it till wedding day of Anuj and Anupama..watched it coz of Anuj..then left as it got boring..but her obsession with Shah house is something else..followed updates for some time...left that too...and ironically it's their top show won 5 awards..see the state of shows of SP😂
