Akshara’s fake concern for Ruhi

I find it odd that in today’s episode Akshara is thinking about Ruhi when the kids fight - a time when she herself and Abhir too is grieving. But Akshara hasn’t shown any interest towards her niece for 6 years!! She didn’t bother ever to find out how is the daughter of the guy, who lost his life trying to save the girls from her own institiute, coping without her father!

When the leap started she didn’t even know that Abhimanyu has been her Poppy, during dinner with Abhimanyu in Kasauli - she even wonders if he and Arohi were married!! But she’s been in touch with the Goenkas all this time! Just further testament to the fact that all relationships in Goenka family are shallow and meaningless.

So why start showing her concern now of all times?

That’s Akshara for you. She can never look beyond herself.. she gets to have a say in everyone’s life and their decisions becos Mahaan hai woh.. woh abuse bhi karegi, physical assault bhi karegi tho she gets away quite conveniently becos she is a female.

I don’t get how is a character like Akshara supposed to be the lead! There’s no admirable quality about her. we can’t expect her to grow brains, but at least they can show the female lead having a kind empathetic heart!!

I agree with ur post title - FAKE CONCERN that’s all it is, this female cannot look beyond herself and her beta. So that’s why that dialogue from her abt Ruhi is laugh worthy…now she suddenly realizes that declaring Abhi as murderer is having an negative impact on Ruhi, seriously, what did she think, Ruhi will jump with joy 🤢 glad Ruhi stood her ground abt abhi….

Akshara didn't look back at "anyone" for 6 yrs bec they didn't want her back ...she didn't choose this life, she got it as a gift from dr Birla...Arohi said she's fine with akshara as long as she stays away ..goenkas thought birlas hate her this much so it's fine both the girls are happy in their sasural. Akshara herself didn't want to go bk but destiny had other plans .

After she was bk I don't remember her not caring for ruhi at any moment ...she was always good to ruhi and even shivansh for a little moment they greeted..When she came bk abhim was getting engaged to arohi so it's pretty much obvious ruhi was cared for ..when ruhi was jealous of abhir and abhim bond , akshara suggested what's best for ruhi , yahan bhi concern fake tha..selfishness thi..akshara till date never poisoned abhirs mind against abhim, even in the custody track where all they had to do is cry rivers ke abhim snatched abhir from them...today also she doesn't want the children to get involved in this , but her concern is labeled as fake.

.in what way should akshara show "interest and concern" n I'm sure even if she does it will be labeled as fake like it is just now.

She shows concern only after if she does Abhim jaap, otherwise she if a villain 🤣

I was confused about both sisters being worried about the kids because didn’t Shefali already tell them think about the kids and what affect it will have on them ?

That kid grew up with a brain in her head inspite of growing up in the so called toxic birla house. A kid who rightly understood lose, a kid who innocently got jealous of her cousin just like how every single kid in this world evolved/evolves, a kid who understood someone like poppy who saves lives for a living cannot go abt taking lives. A kid who spent 6 years (not counting her infancy) with Abhi and understood his pain and honesty. Where Adults failed Abhi, a kid brought up in Birla house is able to understand him. Abhir is grieving and a very impressionable child. He is traumatized with constant lies and over burdened with adult problems. This was not the time for him to learn abt stupid accusations and Akshara as a parent fails him every single step. She is in fact proving her incapability to take care of him or even understand him.
