What happened in the past doesn't absolve her of her sins for the past six years. She pretended her son was dead, she stole her son's identity, she stole his relationship with his paternal family, and she lied to Abhinav the friend who helped her for six years. She didn't protect anyone. She put her feelings above everyone else. This is psychological abuse not protection.

She didn't have to beg anyone all she had to do was tell the truth about Abhir's identity then move on with Abhinav without the lies. Instead she chose to lie to even Abhinav, who helped her at her weakest point. Makers wrote as her an opportunist who only cares about herself and that takes advantage of other's goodwill.

As for their behavior in the past isn't she doing worse right now? Isn't she letting her grief blind her and trying to punish an innocent man of murder? What happened was between adults, but now she decided to bring two innocent children into.

I agree with you Manjiri's only priority is Abhi and that's what makes her a better mother than Akshara. From the past seven months Akshara's priority was Abhinav, Arohi, Ruhi, and Kairav. She was the least bit concerned about her six year old child with a heart condition.

For months Akshara said Abhi would never a father to his own son then changed her mind after she got what she wanted from him. She also said that Abhir will remain Abhi's son then called her own child with a living father an orphan.
