Literally every in laws love for their daughter in law in ITV is conditional. Daughters in law are expected to do something for the family to get appreciation and love.

Akshara did hold grudges and was hostile for six years towards her that's why she hide Abhir. Also, for months she was shown screaming and disrespecting her, but she flipped back to calling her Maa after Abhi gave up Abhir lol.

Both of them are toxic characters that only see their pain as pain and then flip back when it benefits them. Saas bahu relationships are the most conditional and toxic relationships on ITV.

I laughed during this scene. I know it wasn't meant to be funny, but the overly dramatic dialogues like these are silly because they both hate each other lol.

The makers are relying on the chemistry between the actresses.
