I don't understand the reasoning behind the family not revealing abhinav's death to abhir. He is his father and he has a right to know what happened. A right to grieve. Right to see his father one last time. Right to give him a farewell and pay his respects one last time.

By not revealing the death, they are leaving that child to keep questioning about his father, leaving him to wonder if once again, his father has left them or worse.

I also strongly believe that by not revealing the truth, he will be left to question so many things once he finds out which will definitely impact his mind negatively. We have already seen this kid and the love he has for his dad and what extent he can go to find out the truth once he sets his mind to it. And if he has to find out about his father from a third person rather than his mom, then that's just sad.

Who else agrees? I really want to know your thoughts about this.

I totally agree. Though he is 6 year old and it will be too much for him but he should learn the truth. ITV se you can't expect much.

When they showed story of woman moving on in her toxic marriage with another guy and living happy life. But just for soul connections they have to kill second husband and move her back to ex. Instead they could have shown both happily moving on in their life and take story forward like this. But heard all star plus serials are same crap.

Soul connection hota to shayad ek baar ko digest bhi ho jata.. but Akshara ko to dhela interest bhi nhi hai Manyu mei.. Zabardsti just for the sake of it dikhana hai bcos (you guessed it right Nisha) Sitara is obsessed with toxicity.

Abhir definitely deserves to know about his father's death and that too from Akshara herself.. But let's wait n watch.. maybe they'll show that..

Up till now the way things went downhill all of a sudden it's understandable why kids aren't informed.. Akshara is also not in the right mental state to reveal this shocker to their son..

There's no easy way or right time to break such a news.. and it's gonna scar the child for life one way or the other.. But I feel the little kid will be more devastated if he doesn't get to see and say goodbye to his father the last time.. so before last rites I Abhir should get to see Abhinav.

it is not about channel ,it is about story and trp nav was accepted by trp audience aa friend, but from the time they started showing them married or changed naration trp went down, and nav extention was never about trp,it was about extending it for dkp own homeproduction,as they showed every months foreshadowing,of nav death ,but it kept extending due to favouritism

I completely agree that abhir should have known about abhinavs ns he has the right to do the rites and say goodbye to abhinav.

But to play devil's advocate, telling a 6 year old boy that his father is no more and he will never come back is something that is very hard and complicated to say. He will say goodbye to a liveless abhinav who wouldn't call him nikkeji or aara. He will not respond to abhir when he will try to call him up from his sleep is too emotional.

Then his health condition is also very crucial as he just went through heart surgery. He shouldnt stress or be emotional too much. He would probably have medications to take (logically as the show didn't show this). He might deny to eat food or medication and they need to handle him very carefully.

Lastly, when he recovers from this emotional stress, his last image of his father is when abhinav was going away smiling and waving goodbye to him. That is the best image for a kid to have of his father than a lifeless body that is cold and unresponsive and has many wounds here and there. That is going to be more traumatizing for a small kid. At least once he accepts the fact that his father is no more, he can remember his smiling father and the fun they had at the birthday not the cold hard truth that came after. So in a way, it might be better for the kid.

Abhir must know but I don't agree that this was the time..a 6 yr old witnessing the death of a loved one is traumatizing ...kids live with those memories forever and it may scar them deeply...in the hospital may be they should have let abhir and abhin see each other for the last time , but not in the funeral..itv logic is anyways bakwas , the wife can't do the last rites( women are not allowed to do this in Hindu culture) ...kairav or BP could..

Akshara can tell him later ..

In bold - yes that is why other relatives like Nana, nani, uncles exist. There is no need that Akshara herself need to reveal the truth. Akshara isn’t in the right mind to do that. Someone close to Abhir who has more presence of mind should make Abhir prepare for it and make him visit his father last time.

I agree with you. But 6 years old visit funerals as a normal thing in India though.
women may not be allowed to do the last rites (i am not a hindu so can’t tell) but there are women who done that in real life.
