Abhimanyu needs to explain some things to manjari, that's it . Leaving his own mother is not the right thing to do . People who grow old sometimes acts immaturely, so does manjari .

In real life too it's impossible for some people to make a choice between own parents and own kids, barring a few individuals who forget how their own parents used to correct their behavior instead of leaving them.

Abhimanyu struggles to balance all his relationships unlike akshara who runs away and leaves people to fend for themselves.

What example would that serve to abhir ? Leave own parents for convenience instead of sorting out the problems.
