Is it necessary for us to think from Abhimanyu's point of view.

Manjiri is Abhi's mother, he spoke on her behalf.

We have seen both ex MIl and DIl from the begining.

IMO they have ditto character traits.

Why should abhim trust akshara nai why should akshara trust abhim to tell him abt abhir ? Even after 6 yrs she was humiliated constantly for the past , his mother slapped akshara and dissed her n number of times , called her murderer , khushiyon ko khane wali , liar , theif and what not...bec she lost her babies that day ? ..and he was standing there like a mute doll..he couldn't say one sentence that yes I was also wrong that day to divorce my miscarried wife and kick her out ? Why would she entrust the responsibility of her child to such a man who is his mothers winding toy? How can she reveal it to abhir and to abhimanyu when she knew where it would lead to. And it did lead to her losing abhirs custody .

Still, the two of them must reach a common ground for abhirs sake but the past doesn't let them . If this was about a mother vs father fight , it was understandable but here a grandmother is fighting against everyone and the son joins her instead of owning up. This is where it goes wrong.

Because she is aware that her child needs her and if Abhimanyu is half as good a father as his fans mke him out to be , he would have looked out for his son too, instead of giving into his grown up mom's unreasonable demands.

It was expected of her to act the way she did with Abhimanyu in the beginning after what he did to her. Did Abhimanyu not blame her again for Ruhi being fatherless (in Kasauli episodes) or get agitated by the idea of her returning to Udaipur? But with time she has been able to put those disagreements behind her. Has Manjari extended the same courtesy to Akshara?

In yesterday's precap, she was the one who understood how miserable and isolated her child was, when she visited him in his school. Now that Abhir is living with the Birlas, isn't it Abhimanyu's responsibility to find out what is it, that is bothering his kid so much? In today's episode's closing shot , Abhir looked extremely sad because of not being able to meet his parents, while Manjari had already dozed off. And in yesterday's episode, instead of finding out if Abhir was actually in the wrong, Abhimanyu asked him to apologize anyway. The kid seems to be losing his spark with each passing day and these two adults who supposedly care so much about him are just lost in their own bubble.

@bold - I am not saying that Akshara stay away from Abhir, but she can try to avoid Manjiri if she can’t stop herself from confronting her. And if she does wish to confront either Abhimanyu or Manjiri - she can speak calmly- raising her voice or talking aggressively doesn’t imply that she is right. Her concerns were valid today too but she also heard Abhimanyu’s reply to Manjiri over the phone - so she knew he respected her place in Abhir’s life. She is the one who conveniently includes or excludes him as a parent. His outburst at her repeated allegations and disrespect was absolutely understandable today.

Abhimanyu was agitated on her coming to Udaipur because he didn’t wish to experience the heart break again. He had had a breakdown so bad that he made Rohan give an injection to relieve his pain. And its not like he told Akshara that she shouldn’t be here or anything- it was a conversation with his own self - out of helplessness in the situation.

Also Abhimanyu is trying to get Abhir to speak up(he cannot be forced into talking) - obviously after all that happened Abhir will take time to confide in either 3 again. And if Akshara is genuinely concerned about her child’s emotional state - she shouldn’t have broken his heart! She is the biggest reason that he is miserable right now. He has fought with people before, he has faced bullies but today he is finding it difficult because he cannot deal with the fact that he is a burden to the people he values most!

@bold- Abhimanyu has helped the Sharmas a lot of times. He kept quiet when he could have told Abhir the truth himself - because he accepted her decision. He told Abhir that his real father could be wrong but there’s no fault in him or Akshara. And if Abhir didn’t need that surgery- it would have made sense if Akshara remained silent - no one would have found out. But she didn’t say even when it made sense - not as an ex but as a doctor he needed to know. And even after the truth came out - she herself tried to keep him away from his son in fear he would snatch him - so the thing she worried he may do - she herself did in fear.

He accepted in front of his entire family that he did wrong to Akshara. Manjiri upset Arohi too - but she kept her point calmly - Abhimanyu understood her.

I don’t think Manjiri is right either and I want Abhimanyu to see how she is making things difficult for everyone. Although Akshara’s anger towards Manjiri was justified today, she could have expressed her concerns more maturely to Abhimanyu so they can find a solution but she started dismissing his role as the father and expected him to value her pain.

@bold - Abhimanyu’s actions were called out too when he lost control. So why can’t we call out Akshara’s behavior too? And if she is going to retaliate by doing the very things she blames Abhimanyu for - how is she the better person any way? At least Abhimanyu other than when he is angry uses his mind well!

And I totally disagree that Abhir is miserable because of the verdict - he is miserable because the Sharmas thought of the worst way possible to make him leave! Again I will not defend Manjiri. But I see nothing wrong in Abhimanyu at present - I only wish he gets the strength to break away from his mother.

Akshara was a victim of Abhimanyu’s outburst- I agree - but being a victim in past doesn’t mean that all her actions/decisions have been correct! Abhimanyu too has been a victim of traumatic childhood - doesn’t mean everything he does because of the insecurities it caused are justified! Being a victim does not mean one is right!!

Bruh Abhinav wasn't supposed to be insecure? Akshara wasn't supposed to ignore Abhir to coddle her husband's insecurities? But Akshara is not supposed to meet her minor son to not trigger the insecurities of a woman who has decades over her and Abhir?
