So, therefore, she restricts Akshara from meeting Abhir— a minor who has never ever lived without his mother.

However, has Akshara restricted Manjari from meeting her very adult son?

Has Akshara ever asked a husband to leave his wife for her son's happiness?

A minor child and his mother should refrain from meeting each other because a geriatric adult is insecure of two parent-child relationships, according to bheeest cardiothorcic surgeon. Buuuut Akshara is equitable to her abuser i.e Manjari lol.

Agree that Manjiri and Akshara are very similar- maybe thats why they are insecure of each other - both will do anything to get what they want from their kid! Both never play fair to others. Never consider their son’s emotions and manipulate them to satisfy own agenda. They are stubborn and rigid when they think they are right - which is far from truth.

When Manjiri said she knows better than anyone how far a mother can go for her kid.. I wonder what she meant? - Is she responsible for keeping those divorce papers in their room that day - or she faked her panic attacks - or both to ensure Akshara is away from Abhimanyu?

She could separate Akshara the wife/lover from Abhimanyu but she won’t be able to keep Akshara the mother away - thats why she is afraid now.

I think its very much possible that Manjiri has lied about her whereabouts to Abhimanyu- she would have informed much earlier knowing Akshara is waiting had it been true - she called Abhimanyu only when he was returning home and not before! If it is so, I hope Abhimanyu sees through it soon and distances his son from Manjiri.

Abhir literally did not want to go to his biological father. He repeatedly attested to the same in front of his biological father and his biological grandmother. Even after knowing that the cool adult in his life is his biological father, he did not want to live with him. I agree that Akshara should have prioritised his feelings and got a stay from a higher court instead of breaking his heart

No kid would want to. But there’s no doubt that Akshara didn’t care about what Abhir would feel and how much it may scar him - with all the bullying and other kids making fun of him - that kid has stopped speaking up! The child who stood up to an unknown man for not paying Abhinav and explained his heart condition in the camp - is keeping quiet after being wronged- he seems very insecure and doesn’t know who to open up to - all his 3 parents have lost his trust after the custody!

If akshara is like manjari , why is he calling out akshara and defending manjari for the same thing?

How is akshara ka dard as a ma who lost her baby is inconsequential but ma ka dard who lost her adopted son is bigger ? Why does he go on and on with "MAINE aur MA ne Neil ko khoya , apne bache ko khoya " , well he was aksharas bacha also .

His ma should have her son and her grandson but akshara must not have her son? He , as a son, will stick to his mother like fevikwik but abhir shouldn't?

So again, what should she have done short of not marry Abhinav and thereby presenting Abhir with two father figures?

Look at how sad Abhir was for not being able to meet his mom today. And this beshtest dad in the world wide world has the audacity to ask Akshara not to visit her son because his mommy won't like it! Lol

You got me wrong. I was only talking about the financial burden issue. There’s nothing wrong in second marriage or a kid getting love from both fathers. And as a devotee of Kanhaji she could have understood this better!

When parents are unable to move on from past - how can they expect the child to do it? She had a horrible past no doubt but there was good in it too and even after leap she has acknowledged and thanked Abhimanyu for his help multiple times but she forgets all this when she is speaking of Abhimanyu’s presence in Abhir’s life.

I just read a quote somewhere which is apt for most adults in show esp Akshara and Manjiri - “You should heal yourself before you become a parent so that your child doesn’t have to heal from having you as a parent!”

Its high time everyone got a closure on white day before it drains all colors out of the children’s lives!
