Abhinav as a character has been hugely glorified and even his mistakes are hidden behind the mistakes of other characters so it seems like he is the perfect everything. But no, he is not.
He is not a perfect father or husband. I know people who are, and none of them need this much constant validation or glorification to make it seem true. A father doesn't just love their kid but thinks about their future and actively makes decisions to improve it. Nav being middle class is not the issue, but having no upward trajectory in his career or wanting to improve at all is. Furthermore, he is also responsible for the custody case as much as Ak and Abhi are, but in every situation, Ak ends up taking the majority of the responsibility even though Ak-Nav are supposed to be partners.
He is def not a perfect husband. He is supposed to be Ak's partner but falters in a lot of cases due to his own insecurities. He is emotionally weak and requires constant attention and validation. He doesn't respect her POV when it comes to his own family. He manipulates Ak when she is being stubborn or ends up taking unilateral decisions and overrides her opinion.
Just because someone says this person is a perfect father and husband (i.e. Ak), doesn't make it true. He is not an ideal by any means, and I def would not want such a guy. Someone I can have no real conversation with cause we don't match up intellectually at all, or someone who has no ambition and wants to go nowhere in life but still needs validation that he is successful and a good person constantly, someone who makes every situation about his own ddp, someone who has no friends apparently, someone who keeps emotionally manipulating me to do things, etc.
It's not about money or looks but about what kind of person he is. And basically, he is not attractive, even in terms of his personality alone.
