Absolutely, you raise some valid points. It's quite interesting to note that Akshara was the one who initially brought the legalities into the picture, and her family were the ones who first initiated the case.
When Abhimanyu, in turn, stood his ground as a responsible a father, it's curious how the narrative shifted and Abhimanyu suddenly became the one who is 'breaking up' the family. But as you rightly mentioned, Abhimanyu merely sought his rightful place in his son's life.
Her actions suggest a need for self-reflection. If she had perhaps focused more on prioritizing Abhir's needs over her own emotional desires, the situation may not have escalated to this point. It's a delicate scenario but one that could have been navigated with more maturity and foresight. The unfortunate situation emphasizes the need for more careful consideration and empathy, particularly in matters involving a child's wellbeing.
She is never gonna have self realisation, she is the FL so she is the bechari abla nari who is never wrong and always does correct by her family and larger public, irrespective of if it is actually correct or not. And Abhimanyu is/ was the ML, so he is always supposed to be the one who does wrong and misunderstands. This is ITV, they did something beautifully different with Abhinav as the father and then Akshara moving on with what she felt at peace with and fell in love with her now husband, and by showing the ex wanting to only coparent his child once he saw that love and trust and saw his mistakes. Something that never happens on ITV as it's all about snatching and winning always. But then they decided to ruin it again by turning Akshnav into horrible parents and setting examples on how not to parent.
