Its not that he couldn’t take a “no”. He couldn’t accept her lies. He was trying to move on but her concern and actions towards him kept giving him mixed signals(eg. preparing a birthday surprise for him).
Yes Abhimanyu made mistakes. But if a person who has done wrong doesn’t deserve another chance then why does every nation even have a justice department? We can sentence all wrong doers to life imprisonment or hang them!
Vengeance for one’s suffering is not justice.
This whole argument is absurd!
The writers of this show are pathetic but if they show depth in any character- a failure can give the best advices coz he/she knows fully well the consequences of said action.
Akshara can neglect her well being(and in doing so her unborn child) when she’s emotionally overwhelmed(facing kidnappers, not reaching out to her brother when she found out one kid is alive, making her child travel when his doctor said no) but if a man acts emotionally coz he lost his younger brother n kids n was about to lose his mom too - he is beyond redemption!?
Abhinav did great to help Akshara - but he never had anyone to lose before so he too needs to realize the pain the other guy went through. Just the thought of his son leaving him is making him crazy and irrational. Abhimanyu actually lost people back then. Also, why do we need to hate one character to like the other? Both have their own charms and their own share of mistakes.
