the problem is not with the concept.. yes, they can show that blood relations is much more strong than any other relations.. because.. of course, they will , the lead carries the narrative. I don't necessarily have to believe it.. nor Do I think it is healthy of a series to give that message.. writers have to do what ever they want

But execution of the concept could have been better

The kid was getting operated and this guy gets a severe pain in the stomach akin to a punch...

I felt the the scene was funny... As it was way too unrealistic even with yrkkh standard

He could have felt somewhat uneasy,.. maybe as a doctor he could have felt something amiss.,. After thinking about the kid for long time..

I feel making the soul connection a physical pain...just didn't go with me..

And hc acting as though it was really painful made the scene more funny...

And shefali saying all parents feel that... Was icing on cake...

Yep my dad was doubling down with pain in his office when I was getting my head stitched after a serious accident....

(Just so you are curious... They didn't have mob back then... And dad only knew after coming back home.. in the evening)

Apparantly I don't have the soul connection with my dad

This soul connection bull shit they constantly peddle make me feel sorry for surrogate parents. Being a sperm donor doesn’t give you no feels that is not how you become parents

Hey I didnt see yesterday's scene but my personal experience was I never considered myself to be close to my dad, not intentionally but we had some emotional detachment since childhood, once when my dad visited us in UK I could see that all is not well with him the minute I saw him and wasnt sure what it is though. But one day I felt like taking him to the A&E, in A&E doctors said my dad had very high levels of potassium and he's very close to getting into coma. After my dad got well, my parents went back to India and one day my younger sister told me that dad was admitted in hospital and while I was praying for my dad, I had a warm tear drop rolling through my cheeks and for a minute I felt my dad was with me. He was telling me to take care of my hubby(my hubby and my dad bond very well), my kids, my dad was saying that he's not able to put up anymore with his bodily suffering and after 5 minutes, I got a call from my sister saying my dad's no more, I knew that I can't see him the day he was leaving the airport. Issey shaayad khoon khoon ko pukarna kehte hai.

Also I'm very attached to my mom and everytime I have a fever or something my mom could feel that something is not well with me and we both can sense each others trouble even today despite living separately since several years. Especially the feeling always begins in the stomach, it's a kind of inconvenient, sinking emotion which causes restlessness and some people call it gut feeling.

Nisha dear I'm tagging you because, I want you to know my reason behind what I said yesterday.

Rajiji s sorry to hear about your dad :( and thanks for tagging me. See that's why I said I was surprised with your response as I know you since long time. Your posts have always made sense to me but I still didn't judge you as knew that it just must be some different life experiences that we are seeing things differently.

My son is also same age as Abhir and when I see Abhinav I see my husband living that childhood with him ( though he is his biological father too lol ). So I connect with him more than believing in blood relations. And yes soul connection does exist as we live in different countries than our parents and sometimes we do feel that connection. But ITV presents it in most weirdest way. Its so selective that you can't connect and it becomes more funny.

Hey Nisha thanks for your understanding🤗 I agree our experiences define or shape our beliefs. I think relationships can exist despite being not so perfect. I Agree with you that soulmates in ITV are erratic because they lack of consistency due to TRP hunger of channels and PH. I find Abhir adorable too and he reminds my son's childhood days(my son is a teenager now).

Even in real life, living with your soul mate is always not that easy, and only LOVE, which gives the strength to endure testing times with patience and perseverance, is vital for a successful marriage.

My worry is our generation has our eyes set on instant gratification, profit, and loss tally. Life is a journey instead of a running race, relationships make the journey pleasant, they need to be nurtured, cared and dealt with a lot of patience. I'm afraid, I might be called regressive for my beliefs. Again, my life experiences taught me that having patience pays in the long run.

Yeah definitely patience is a Virtue :)

Abhi: "owww I'm doubling over in stomach pain, like someone punched me"

Bhabi: "oh yeah duh, parents intuition, you're obviously fine!

Abhi: Roohi, are you okay!?

Roohi: "yes, I'm fine, why?"

Bhabi: shrugs her shoulder

😂 this was hilariously ridiculous, no concern for Abhi's health at all even when Roohi said she was fine. Can you imagine responding to your loved ones this way?

🤣🤣 Do they want us to believe that all these years Abhir did not have any sort of illness? And while Akshara was birthing him, he had almost died due to the complications. Why did Abhimanyu not get a heart attack back then? Kuch bhi dikhate hain.
