He must have drawn up the papers made her sign or she knew she was in the wrong so she just signed them and left the house in a devastated state.

The only way I can see some redemption to this separation is if they show the bus gets in an accident and everyone thinks she died. Guilt of everything so when they met again Abhi won't be able to believe his eyes.

Otherwise having the children play cupid or Abhi coming back because he found out he has a child...that story just falls flat. Becauae then its not because of love its only because the children want it or Abhi only came back because he has kids.

Because this team has trouble with execution it won't seem genuine that Abhira want to be together again. Only due to circumstances they are choosing to get together.
