Today’s episode was a good one. I just hoped they wouldn’t make Harshad scream as much. The guy is a top notch actor and can do voice modulation like a pro.
Coming to the episode -
I was fine till the time Abhimanyu asked Akshara where were u in the relationship - because he didn’t know what happened and he thought she went to hide with Kairav as was being fed to him.
The makers put water down my hope that he shouldn’t tell his pain himself. Harshad as an actor is just so brilliant. Up until he met Akshara - there was a sort of sadness in his eyes because of his parents marriage - but the minute he met her - his eyes started twinkling with hope. But after separation - they’ve been blank. Numb. Reddish with water tinge. But without hope. And we can clearly see the difference due to actor Harshad.
I agreed and disagreed with some points of both Akshara and Abhimanyu today.
Abhimanyu - I agreed when he said after actual deal was revealed that, I could’ve stayed alive without surgery but I was lifeless one year without you. It’s true. Surgery was never above Akshara for him. Also he said there was neither his happiness nor his consultation/wish in her sacrifice. True. He was totally clueless about the deal and Akshara clearly made a life changing choice for them both - all by herself- just like Arohis time - and this was wrong according to him.
But I disagreed when he started saying she did it all for being mahaan. Clearly Mimi told him Dr Khera said Abhimanyu’s life was in danger. I think Abhimanyu heard it - but didn’t register it due to anger. It’s easy to say you shouldn’t have done that - but what was Akshara supposed to do? Let Abhimanyu’s life be in danger? Let him be a non surgeon who is miserable lifelong? So she was right in her place. He could have asked her why she did sacrifice for him in a much softer tone - he will do anything for her and he knows it. So him disregarding what she did for him so rudely was wrong.
Akshara - as I said I agreed when she said to Abhimanyu you would’ve done the same thing if u were in my place. She equates sacrifice with love and he doesn’t. So when he said your sacrifice was mistake she thought he meant her love was mistake which was not the case. She didn’t do anything wrong as she had to take quick decision - accept Dr Kheras condition to save Abhimanyu’s life and hand. But I didn’t agree with her keeping him in dark throughout.
But again - we as viewers were not fully able to relate to sacrifice because of makers loopholes already pointed out here. She could’ve been shown hostage full 1 year by Dr Khera / him keeping an eye on her the whole year/ blackmailing by keeping Kairav hostage and could’ve been shown trying to reach Abhimanyu some way or other after surgery. Once surgery was done she would have no fear left and she could’ve been shown trying to reach Abhimanyu to help her and Kairav get out this hostage situation. But logic expectations are of no point and we know that.
Both are wrong and their communication skills lack in different departments. She doesn’t share issues with him when she’s supposed to and after that doesn’t say right thing at the right time. And he - blocks his mind and it’s very difficult to communicate with him when his mind is full of rage. He says/does things in anger for which he repents later. He needs to work on this big time.
One common fault in their communication is - they can’t put forward their points calmly in front of each other to make the other person understand their point of view. When they’re angry - the intensity is so high - that calm logical reasoning goes out the window and they both blurt hurtful things instead. They both need to work on this.
It’s said we start reflecting our partners traits after a while and this can be seen in Akshara. She’s imbibed some traits from Abhimanyu which are good and bad. She’s become fierce and fiesty to some extent like him and faced Dr Khera all alone with her head held high. Became stronger. These are good things.
But today, she said something in anger which was not right - she said Abhimanyu doesn’t know what love is. That was clearly overboard. She didn’t think before saying.
2 things I absolutely loved -
1) Mimi blasting Arohi for sacrifice. She deserves so much more punishment than that but she got an earful and that was music to viewers ears. That vile Arohi was okay with Akshara sacrificing her love for her. And now, she’s giving Akshara lecture on sacrifice. How selfish she is - everyone knows - so I’m glad Mimi shut her poisoned mouth.
2) Neil and Harshvardhan gave Abhimanyu Aksharas perspective and how what she did was not easy at all. It was expected from Neil as he’s always been their Cupid but it was a welcome surprise by Harshvardhan. Guess he has at least started realising Manjiri’s value so knows where Akshara comes from.
Both have different versions of love. The mere thought of her not being with him makes Abhimanyu feel lifeless that’s why he can’t bear to be away from her. And she - she is capable of doing anything for love - even if that means going away from your love for your love. And these idiots don’t understand that the basic underlying theme is same - both love each other selflessly.
Precap - I just hope Kairavs truth is out in maximum 2 more episodes because it’s too much now. The guy is mentally traumatised since 1 year and in jail for no mistake. Manish also didn’t commit any crime that he belongs in jail so many days. Hope truth is out asap. At least 1 truth is out. So hoping they won’t drag much.
Anand drinking before surgery? Really makers have again touched a track they know nothing of. A doctor drinking in hospital is a huge huge deal. Even if he actually didn’t do surgery - his license should be revoked for few years at least - but makers play with law as usual so don’t know how seriously they’ll treat this.
