I haven't watched the previous generation stories at all. I know only the names of some of them. i Began watching this as HC came back after a 3 year break.

Can anybody tell me, if there was such MUs and separation tracks of previous leads within 1 year itself. Were there happy tracks and festivities that people enjoyed watching, were there this many antagonists and evil characters surrounding the lead couple 🤔. I totally understand drama but, i find this a bit more of dukh dard peeda than necessary. Was it always so much of unhappy content.

Gen 2 was a mix of good and bad. Well it really went bad post the 1.5-2 year mark. I think the first 600 episodes of gen 2 are solid. The next 600 are bad writing but some of us were already so invested. No villains a lot of festivities even in dukh dard peera. I guess gen2's biggest highlight was that the main couple took over 200+ episodes to come together and they were just never 'boring'? except the kairav custody track for me personally (I guess what i'm trying to say is that even though the writing hit rock bottom somewhere in the middle of gen 2's run it was still mostly watchable, like you wanted to stick with these characters and watch them come back together, except for a few tracks that were just unbearable😆). Anyway to cut it short (as if I could after rambling for so long) the show did hit rock bottom in terms of writing/execution/values during gen 2 and that shittiism (ive taken to inventing words at this point and whatever i like it😆) carried over in gen 3. Villains -- Arohi? -- are new to gen 3. I mean when the writing is this bad what can you even expect? And they don't even have gen 2's strong start when the writing was actually good to tide you over. I really am curious. Does anyone think gen 3 is salvageable? Like can they actually mend the foundation that doesn't exist and make abhira interesting again? I have no doubt that they'll keep the show and gen 3 running somehow so I'm curious to see how.😆

It makes sense to me now. I understand why the fans of previous generations are probably disappointed coz, as you rightly pointed out, that even if there were dukhi tracks, it kind of balanced out with lightheartedness also. Am not seeing any such thing but am continuing just for HC and he is putting his heart and soul into the character along with Pranali ❤️ let's see if things get better. May be the PH is competing with other dukhi top shows in the channel

I think -- never mind I don't think about this show all that much I hope -- the main problem is with the writing. Even the dukh dard peera can be exciting and interesting for most people if it's executed well. Gen 1 they didn't even use the word 'soulmate' 3-5 years into the show?? And by that point it was well-earned. They really showed you a simple realistic story where two people come together based off of an arranged marriage setup and learn to love each other over time. There's no you sneeze I sneeze level soul connection because that just takes time. In gen 2 the guy falls first and falls hard over a period of time while the girl is mostly oblivious to him (debatable tho). Like you really pity him at one point and are rooting for him but there's no soulmatism there either. You're too busy wishing he doesn't end up with the bland sister (sorry Gayu you were the sweetest.😆). Anyway the 'we're soulmates blah blah' enters their story late as well and it's convincing I guess. Yahaan koi alag level ka transcendental connection hai that's been slapping us in the face like a dead fish from day one. We know they're soulmates, I sneeze you sneeze this love is eternal even before they've said four complete dialogues to each other. Yahaan pe bhi this is their biggest problem. NVM I do think you should ignore me because I'm just mad that DKP wasted HC's return and a potentially interesting gen 3 I could've invested into for the next 5 years. 😆Did they consummate on the transcendental astral plane as well? They really did get all their action in dream sequences.🤔

I was thinking yest , I made so many vms on akshara naitik 😆 I mean they consummated over and over again (once every month there was a scene with kithe Jaon) and we know they did it ..this is when Hina and Karan were not on talking terms , he wS really bad at intimate scenes and she was awkward , their chemistry wasn't toofani yet we all enjoyed their coming together ...this was the only way the writers cud celebrate their romance (in the intimate way) ..with 2nd gen , rs did everything he cud not do with naksh , kartik naira had regular consummation scenes with romantic songs and toofani chemistry. It was several notches up as per itv standard .

N I said this during kzk2 times , trps rising and falling should never decide the tracks ..once they start with a track , it should run for a min number of weeks to see if the audience rejected it or liked it..changing the track every week depending on the trps is a death knell 🤢

In all SP shows there is just crying, crying of fls... Imlie, Anupama, Ghum, yrkkh.. In this yrkkh and imlie are worst. At least in other two, the heroines are doing something, standing, fighting, living lives with some positivity. But imlie and yrkkh there is just too much negative drama.. It is obviously not working, the leads of imlie will be leaving soon and prbly another gen leap with new actors.. But don't know how tht will work bcz audience is attached to imlie's character.. So even when they changed the lead it was still able to drag for sometime.. Also in yrkkh same thing happening.. Too many villains torturing the leads and the audience.. No light moments to off set the peeda. So it is like dish with too much salt, in small measure dukh, evil plotting etc. Will give taste but too much of that it's making the dish unfit for consumption.

On the point! In other shows at least the leads r talking , fighting..I said this in another thread , even when they r fighting against the toxicity by supporting toxicity at least they r doing "something " 😆 Sense or nonsense. Here the villains r duh , leads r boring . Seems like they don't want to come together as they take solace in crying for each other. Villains r only shouting like a banshee doing nothing worthwhile. Supporting cast is a waste.

I am wasting my time in the trp thread though bec I liked it at one point of time , pl don't waste your time In reading stuff you don't like. I never question anyone what to watch and why you like it if ur watching . a discussion thread will have opposing povs also so one must be prepared.
