Chapter 1

When the Music Played Again

The stage was set, the lights were dimmed just right, and the soft strumming of a guitar filled the studio. Abhir Sharma, the rockstar who had taken the music industry by storm, stood in front of the microphone, staring blankly at the script in his hands.

His PA, Arjun, stood beside him, adjusting his earpiece. "The auditions went well, sir. We've selected the perfect model for the shoot. She should be here any minute."

Abhir barely acknowledged him. He didn't care much about who it was—as long as the music video turned out to be a hit. He had poured his soul into this song, a haunting melody about love lost and the wounds that never heal. He was eager to bring his vision to life, yet something tugged at him, an uneasiness he couldn't quite place.

And then... the studio doors swung open.

A pair of heels clicked against the wooden floor, growing louder with each step. The chatter around them faded, the air thick with a sudden, eerie silence. Abhir turned his head toward the entrance, and his heart nearly stopped.

There she was.

Charu Bansal.

His Charu.

Or rather, the woman who once was.

Dressed in a sleek black outfit, her hair cascading in soft waves, Charu exuded the confidence of a top model. Her striking eyes, however, betrayed her. For just a fraction of a second, something flickered in them—shock, pain, maybe even regret.

Abhir clenched his fists. How cruel could fate be?

Charu's breath hitched the moment she locked eyes with him. She had known there was a chance she would run into him in the industry, but she never expected it to be like this. Never like this.

Arjun, oblivious to the tension, smiled. "Sir, this is Charu Bansal. She's our lead model for the video."

A bitter chuckle escaped Abhir before he could stop it. "Of course, she is."

Charu straightened her shoulders, masking her turmoil. "If this is a problem, I can leave."

"No," Abhir said quickly, his voice firm. "The contract is signed. Let's just get this over with."

She nodded stiffly. "Fine."

The entire crew felt the storm brewing between them. Their love story had been one of the most whispered-about breakups in the media. Rumors, headlines, speculations—none of it captured even a fraction of what truly happened between them.

And now, here they were.

Forced to relive it all.

The first shot was a close-up. Abhir and Charu, inches apart, gazing into each other's eyes as if drowning in emotions too raw to be spoken.

But they didn't need to act.

Because as soon as the music started playing, their past came crashing down on them like a relentless tide.

Would they survive it? Or would it drown them once again?

Chapter 2

The soft melody filled the studio, wrapping around them like an old, forgotten embrace. Abhir stood before Charu, the cameras capturing every fleeting emotion on their faces. The director called, "Action!" and yet, neither of them had to force the intensity of their gaze.

Because the moment the music played, their past came alive.

The First Meeting

It was at a high-profile fashion event in Mumbai. Abhir had just finished performing on stage when a sudden commotion backstage caught his attention.

"Watch where you're going!" A frustrated voice snapped.

He turned to see a girl—dressed in a shimmering silver gown—struggling to balance the tray of drinks she had accidentally knocked over. The waiter shot her a glare, but instead of apologizing, she straightened her shoulders and muttered, "Your fault for keeping it in the way."

Abhir chuckled. Bold. He liked that.

As if sensing his gaze, she turned toward him. The moment their eyes met, time stilled.

Charu Bansal.

He knew who she was—an emerging model, known for her striking looks and fierce attitude. But there, under the harsh backstage lights, she looked different. Unfiltered.

“Enjoying the show?” she asked, crossing her arms.

Abhir smirked. “More than the actual performance.”

She scoffed, rolling her eyes before walking away. But something told him it wasn’t the last time they would cross paths.

The Friendship That Blossomed

The music continued playing in the studio, bringing another memory into focus.

Late-night drives.

Endless conversations over coffee.

Abhir and Charu had become friends before anything else. It had started with casual meetings at industry events, which turned into long phone calls, which turned into a bond neither of them saw coming.

“I don’t know why people romanticize love so much,” Charu had once told him, sitting on the hood of his car, staring at the night sky. “It only complicates things.”

Abhir had glanced at her, amusement twinkling in his eyes. “So, you don’t believe in love?”

She had shrugged. “I believe in friendships. Less mess, more fun.”

Abhir had laughed at that. If only they knew then how wrong she was.

When Friendship Turned to Love

As they shot the next scene, where Abhir had to gently tuck a strand of Charu’s hair behind her ear, another memory struck them both.

The first time he realized he was in love with her.

It had been raining that night. Charu had been stranded in the middle of nowhere after a photoshoot, her car breaking down at the worst possible moment. And of course, Abhir had been the one she called.

When he arrived, she was drenched, her dress clinging to her like second skin. But she wasn’t shivering from the cold. She was laughing. Completely carefree, twirling under the rain as if the world didn’t exist.

And Abhir had just stood there, breathless.

That was the moment.

That was when he knew.

The Proposal

The studio lights shifted, casting a golden hue as the song reached its crescendo.

Abhir's mind wandered to the day he had proposed.

It wasn’t extravagant. No grand gestures, no staged performances. Just the two of them.

They were in Goa, standing by the beach as the sun set, painting the sky in fiery shades of orange and pink. Charu had been rambling about something—probably about how ridiculous people looked when taking selfies.

And suddenly, in the middle of her rant, he had said, “Marry me.”

She had frozen, blinking at him. “What?”

He had smiled, taking her hand. “I don’t want a love story that’s perfect. I want ours—the messy, unpredictable, absolutely insane kind. So… marry me, Charu.”

For the first time, she had been speechless.

Then, with a tearful laugh, she had whispered, “Okay.”

And just like that, they had sealed their forever.

The Marriage and Their Sweet Moments

Abhir and Charu, the rockstar and the model, had become husband and wife in an intimate ceremony, away from the chaos of fame.

And the days that followed?

Pure magic.

Burning toast together in the mornings. Stealing kisses between rehearsals. Late-night whispers, tangled in sheets.

"Sing for me," she had often asked, curled up against his chest.

And he always did. Because if there was one thing he knew, it was that his voice belonged to her.

Back in the studio, Abhir felt his throat tighten.

He was holding Charu by the waist, just as the script demanded, but in that moment, they weren’t just shooting a music video.

They were reliving everything they had lost.

And then…

The music stopped.

“Cut!” the director called.

The spell shattered.

Abhir stepped back, swallowing hard. Charu blinked rapidly, as if waking from a dream.

Neither spoke.

Because some love stories don’t end in goodbyes.

Some remain, haunting, unfinished… like a melody waiting to be played again.

Chapter 3

The director clapped his hands together. “Alright, we need one final shot. This one’s the most intense—pure emotion. No dialogues, no distractions. Just let the music guide you.”

Abhir and Charu exchanged a glance, their faces carefully neutral. But deep inside, they both knew—this last scene would be the hardest.

They got ready, stepping onto the dimly lit set. The song started playing again, the haunting melody wrapping around them.

And as they performed, their minds drifted once more—to the memories that had both built and broken them.

The Sweet Beginning

The honeymoon phase of their marriage had been nothing short of a dream.

Lazy mornings spent tangled in sheets. Breakfasts in bed, where Abhir always burned the toast and Charu pretended to love it. Midnight drives with no destination, just the thrill of being together.

Their laughter had once filled their home, turning even the most ordinary moments into something extraordinary.

“I love you,” he had whispered against her skin one night, as they lay beneath the stars.

She had smiled, tracing patterns on his chest. “I love you more.”

Back then, love had been enough.

Or so they thought.

The Cracks Begin to Show

The scene shifted. Abhir’s hand brushed against Charu’s as they moved through the choreography, their eyes filled with unsaid words.

And just like that, the memories of their fights resurfaced.

The first cracks had been small—missed date nights, arguments over work schedules, little disappointments that neither of them addressed.

“I waited for you all night, Abhir,” Charu had said one evening, arms crossed. “One night, Charu. I got stuck at the studio,” he had replied, rubbing his temples.

“But you didn’t even call!”

“I was busy! Not everything revolves around you.”

The words had stung.

And soon, it wasn’t just one fight. It was many.

From Arguments to Separation

As they performed the final step of the music video, Charu’s eyes glistened.

Because the worst memory of all played in her mind—the night everything had fallen apart.

It had been a stormy evening. Rain lashed against the windows as their voices echoed through the house.

“I can’t do this anymore, Abhir!” Charu had yelled, tears streaking down her face. “We’ve become two people who don’t even recognize each other!”

“You think walking away is the solution?” Abhir had shot back. “Marriage isn’t perfect, Charu! You don’t just leave when things get hard!”

“But we don’t even try anymore, Abhir.” Her voice had broken. “We’re just… hurting each other.”

He had stared at her, breath heavy, hands clenched. And then, with one final look, Charu had walked out the door.

She hadn’t looked back.

Back to the Present

“Cut!” the director’s voice rang out, pulling them back to reality.

The silence was deafening.

The director walked up to them with a nod. “Great work. That’s a wrap. You two don’t have to work together anymore.”

Those words shouldn’t have affected them. But they did.

Abhir and Charu remained rooted to the spot as the crew bustled around, packing up the set. A strange heaviness settled in their chests.

So this was it.

No more accidental meetings. No more stolen glances.

Nothing.

Charu exhaled slowly and turned away. Abhir forced himself to move in the opposite direction.

They both felt it—the weight of something unfinished.

The Realization

Abhir slid into his car, gripping the steering wheel.

Something wasn’t right.

He had spent years trying to forget her, convincing himself he had moved on. But today, when he had stood so close to her, when he had looked into her eyes—he had felt everything all over again.

He wasn’t ready to lose her again.

His heart pounded.

I need to stop her.

Without another thought, he jumped out of the car and ran back toward the studio.

But she was already gone.

The realization hit him like a punch to the gut. He stood there, staring at the empty road, breathless.

She was gone.

And this time, he might never see her again.

The Unexpected Reunion

The next morning, Abhir walked into the studio, his mood sour. He was here for a meeting, but his mind was elsewhere.

Then, he froze.

Charu was there.

She stood near the stage, her arms wrapped around herself, as if gathering the courage to speak.

“Charu…?” His voice was barely a whisper.

She turned to him, and for the first time in years, her eyes held something other than pain.

“I spent the whole night thinking about us,” she confessed, voice unsteady. “And I realized… I can’t live without you, Abhir.”

His breath hitched.

She took a hesitant step forward. “I tried to move on. I tried to bury everything. But no matter how much time passes, no matter how much we fight… my heart still belongs to you.”

Abhir swallowed hard, his pulse racing. “Charu…”

She took another step closer, her fingers grazing his. “I don’t want to run anymore.”

Abhir didn’t give her a chance to say anything else.

He closed the distance between them, cupping her face, and crashed his lips onto hers.

It wasn’t just a kiss. It was a promise. A desperate, breathless vow that this time, they wouldn’t let go.

Charu melted into him, her hands gripping his shirt as the past, the pain, the years of separation all dissolved in that one moment.

They had fought. They had broken.

But love—love had found its way back.

And this time, they wouldn’t let it slip away.

The End.

The title is beautiful.

Surprising that abhir is a rockstar and charu is a model.Model for his music video means the actress who will act in his music video?Surprising that Charu was his ex.Eager to know their past.

Abhiru first meeting was nice. What charu said is true.friendship is less complicated and messy.hair scene...rain scene...proposal scene were romantic.i loved abhir saying that he doesnt want perfection but something messy. But I am surprised that charu who didn't want to fall in love accepted abhir's proposal.glad to know that he used to sing for her.so romantic. The shoot scene shows that still they have feelings for each other?

Abhiru newly married life ..the moments you wrote were very sweet and romantic.such arguments are common among couples especially when they are too busy to be with each other. But shocking that charu decided to get separated.Actually abhir sounded more mature.he was right in saying that marriages are not perfect.so she didnt need to leave when things got harder.charu said they are not even trying.but actually they were not getting time to work on their relationship. Abhir deciding to stop charu from leaving was touching.but it was sad when charu had already left.but it was so nice when charu returned to abhir saying that she realized that she can't live without him.It was a beautiful emotional reunion.
