Beautiful post, Grace!! Totally agree with everything you said! Just like Akshu is getting reality check after reality check about the Birlas, the Birlas are going to get the same from Akshu. They have underestimated her so much - thinking she is weak and docile just because she is soft and loving. But, these traits are her biggest strengths and exactly how she is going to win them over and transform the entire household. Akshu takes everything in and in calm, but she always speaks up when needed. I just wrote in another post that Harsh has been left speechless every time Akshu has spoken up whether that be when she resigned from the hospital or when she spoke up at the reception. She does it with so much dignity and innocence that people have to listen.
I strongly think that she will quit the hospital, but keep her career, too! But, I think that she will return for the Rahamani case because he is allergic to meds so he will need an alternate form of pain relief. HAM will have to ask her back themselves and that will be a scene so worthy of watching.
As for Abhi supporting Akshu if she quits -- there is no question about it! Honestly the highlight of the episode was what he said to her about making her own decisions and judging things for herself. He said that her POV is just as important as anyone else's. The way in which these two understand and respect each other is so beautiful and will be really important down the line too!
