To whom it may concern,
We are excited to announce that a new addition is being built at Birla Hospital. Birla hospital is one of the leading hospitals in the world if not the universe and we truly feel this will take it to another level. It’s true, miracles happen here. Before we get to the new addition, let talk about some of those miracles.
Couple of months ago, we got an accident case where a young girl was hit by a truck and came in severely injured. We were sure she wasn’t going to make it and if she did, she might not be able to ever speak again. She had a big gash on her forehead, roughly 1.5 inches long and a gash on her neck, roughly 0.5 inches long. It was a brutal accident. Yet, our award winning heart surgeon/pediatrician/therapist/spy/miracle worker, Dr. Abhimanyu Birla saved the day. He not only buttered the patient’s neck with bbq sauce (which has amazing healing properties) but also screamed at her “breath Akshu breath!” and not long before, not only was the patient out of danger but singing her head off. By not long we mean like 10 minutes after her surgery. A day after her surgery, she even ran a marathon to meet her upside down boyfriend. If that is not amazing, what is?
Example two. We recently started musical therapy at Birla Hospital which have given us results beyond our expectations. Few weeks back, when a patient was brought in while suffering a heart attack, we rushed him to the OT. But no matter how many times our very capable doctors dipped cotton balls in ketchup or screamed for him to breath, he kept on sinking like the Titanic. Once again, we lost all hope but then our musical therapist came in and started singing and lo and behold! The patient woke up and started to play in the mud three days later. We now ask ourselves, what’s the need of going to medical school and doing years of residency and what not if all we need to save lives is music? Hence, we now have a Akshu Worship Roo….sorry, we mean a Musical Therapy room with state of the art instruments like a tabla.
Anyways, as we have seen the benefits of music therapy and have seen we no longer need to do any surgery since music heals all diseases and illnesses, we have decided to go to a new route. We are proud to announce the opening of Shefali’s Garden - a 4 by 4 foot greenhouse in middle of our cafe. Our Plant Specialist, Parth Birla will be in charge by watering the plants with a spray bottle as well as distributing edible plants to all our patients so they too can dance away while listening to our musical therapist sing. Just like how our Dr. Abhimanyu Birla has first hand experience with how music heals, Parth Birla also has first hand experience on how these plants make him hig…..how these plants heal.
