A slap echoed through the hospital as Abhira angrily yanked Armaan's collar. Geetanjali tried to intervene but Vidya's sharp eyes stopped her. She and Daddu were shocked at the fact that Armaan had a wife. Geetanjali's heart shredded open when Abhira had forbidden her entry inside the room once she had came and Armaan was speechless infront of his wife.Kaveri and Vidya stood furious. Armaan had called Abhira when the doctor had revealed that Maira's bone marrow was infected and would require her mother since his was not a match.Abhira had been beyond furious but she considered her Pookie's life more important.Abhira almost staggered but Kaveri and Vidya held her.
Abhira (angrily, yanking his shirt)-How dare you take my daughter away you selfish man ? And to think that I loved you so much....You had no right to take Pookie away...You gave my right as her mother to some third person !! How dare you Advocate Armaan Poddar.Tum jaisa darpok insaan aaj tak nahi dekha hai maine.Hamesha galti karke phir sorry thats not going to work anymore.(Coldly)Pookie will be going with me to Poddar Mansion after all this.And if you try and stop me, you will fight me in court. You might not be a lawyer anymore but I am still Akshara Sharma's daughter.
Geetanjali (flabbergasted)- You will let her take away our daughter ?

Abhira swayed again, Armaan tried to catch her but she squatted his hand away, Manoj and Madhav caught Abhira in time along with Ruhi who who looked at Armaan in furious manner...Madhav arranged Abhira's bed in his granddaughter's room so the mother daughter duo could be close.Armaan watched Abhira and Maira from the hospital room mirror.He had committed a grave sin but nothing could stop from him getting his karma.Ruhi yanked his arm and took him from the hospital room.Geetanjali and Dadu were getting shocks of their life.
Ruhi (angrily)-What the hell Armaan ? How could you treat my sister like that ? She was in severe depression for so long....Sab tumhari wajah se....
Armaan (stunned)- I never knew...
Ruhi (angrily)-Tumhe kaha kuch pata hota hai Armaan...Agagr tum Pookie ke papa na hote na toh mai tumhe aab tak jail pahucha chuki hoti for abandoning my sister....Shivani aunty ki aatma ashant hogi iss waqt tumahri wajah se....You disgust me
It had been couple of hours since Maira and Abhira were awake.Maira sat with Abhira who fed her with her own hands.Armaan looked at both of them, they were ecstatic..He felt more guilty for separating them...But Maira wanted answers. Slowly Armaan came near her bed. But he couldnot meet her eyes.Geetnajali stood near Armaan.Ruhi smirked, a new plan was already forming in her mind...She had to to tell Armaan Abhira's love story to the woman who thought that she would get Pookie and Armaan....
Maira (asking)-Papa why did you keep me away from mumma ? Did you lie ?
Armaan (fumbling)-Maira....
Maira (getting impatient)-Papa did you lie to me ?
Armaan (explaining)-When you were little, you got lost. I thought your mumma was bad mumma and when I found you I didnt tell her, just took you while she still thought you were lost...
Maira (crying)-I always said my papa was the best...You took away mumma.Teacher says its bad to lie....You are a bad papa....
Suddenly Maira grabbed his shirt and started to hit him with her fist calling him bad papa and sobbing. Abhira slowly took away Maira and hugged her tightly while whispering a lori for her to calm down..Everybody was teary eyed seeing this.. Maira calmed down and hugged Abhira tightly like she would disappear if she left her.Abhira caressed her head.While Armaan sat quitely in the corner of the room sobbing at his daughter's hatred...Geetnajali filled with envy went away while Ruhi followed her. She sat in the canteen while Ruhi approached her.
Ruhi (smirking)-You still think you could get Armaan or pookie ?
Geetanjali (replying)-Her name is Maira....
Ruhi (smirking)-She is pookie for her mother, her family.....Geetanjali you are a fool if you still think Armaan would come back to you....Tumne Abhira ke Armaan ko nahi dekha....he worships the ground Abhira walks...No matter what the mistake, how much time it takes.They will be back together.....This time for Maira.....He the the kind of man who cant keep his hand off his wife....Insanely in love with Abhira...Why do you think he let Abhira take Pookie without a fight....Because he knows he will lose..... he has fought his own family for Abhira....Tum toh kya hi ho...It s better you go back wherever you came from....
It had been a while since Maira had gained her smile back....The entire Poddar family around Abhira and Maira...Manisha and Kajal came with food...While Manoj and Madhav there to keep Maira entertained...Armaan smiled seeing everybody pampering Abhira and Maira... Vidya very lovingly fed Maira nutritious food with juice while Manisha & Kajal took turns to feed Abhira...Suddenly Aryan walked in and Abhira's smile widened....Aryan hugged Abhira tightly which made Maira envious and she stopped eating and hugged Abhira....
Maira (hugging her)-She is my mumma...Why does everybody keep hugging her....
Vidya (smiling widely)-Because everybody loves your mumma....
Manisha (fondly)-Yes she is our cutie...And you are our Pookie....
Maira (aloud)-Pookie ?
Abhira (lovingly feeding her)-Yes I named you Pookie before you were born....Do you like it beta ?
Maira (smiling widely)-I love it....But only you can call me that.....
All dispersed with all of the family waiting outside while Abhira slept next to Maira on the same bed who refused to part with her mother. She slowly caressed her head while Maira slept...Armaan kept looking at his daughter who had refused to even look at him...Abhira while very angry at Armaa didnt want to take away any of his right...Abhira sat with her head at the headrest....
Abhira (absentmindedly)-Give her some time.She is a child...Gussa jald hi thanda ho jayega...Than we can figure out as to when you can meet her...
Armaan (asking)-Abhira....
Abhira (saying)-She stays with me Armaan...Tum usse le gaye but you dont know how to take care of her thats how she has landed in this situation....I dont trust you enough not right now....I will sign the papers so you can marry Geetanjali....
Armaan (nodding)-No dont sign those...I was marrying her to give Maira a mumma....Not wife for me...
Abhira (bitterly)-So easy for you to replace me Armaan....Please leave me and Maira alone for some time and please ask Geetanjali to leave....I dont want her near me or Maira....I appreciate how she took care of Pookie but she is not her mother....
When Armaan came out he saw Geetanjali waiting with Daddu but he knew seeing Armaan's face what he had talked with Abhira about....He slowly removed the ring and placed it back in Geetanjali's hands...She was shattered but she remembered what Ruhi had said...Armaan would always only love Abhira.....
Geetanjali (surprised)-You still love Abhira ?
Armaan (chuckling)-I wanted a mother for Maira....My wife would always have been Abhira...Nobody can take her place.....I forgot that Maira already had a mother and what grave injustice I did with my wife....
Geetanjali (asking)-Can I meet Maira once before leaving ?
Daddu (nodding)-I dont think Abhira wants that beta....
Armaan (agreeing)-I am sorry but you cant meet her.....I have handed the sole custody to Abhira and she takes the shots now....Maira is my life and I have to make it up to Abhira ......
Geetanjali decided to stay in Udaipur just to meet Maira once despite her father's objections.....Abhira and Maira were discharged and were on the way to Poddar Mansion...Kaveri had been shocked when Krish had shown with papers of the house and firm.Thats when Abhira and Krish had revealed everything...It had been their plan...It was a long one but winning Phuphsa's trust was not easy....The car stopped near Poddar Mansion and Maira and Abhira got out....Vidya ready with aarti thal....
Kajal (happily)-Our laxmi set everything right haina Masa....It is after Maira came that now all is set....
Slowly everything was falling into place....Maira and Abhira were coming close.Madhav had hired a PI to remain after Geetanjali...Abhira making it clear that she didnt want that lady near her pookie...Armaan had started taking cases at court and Maira had been stunned seeing her father in lawyer dress but she had nevertheless wandered off....But Armaan had always tried to win his daughter back...Abhira now comfortable had told Kaveri to make Armaan move back to the house.They would co parent Maira....Kaveri had handed Poddar Firms to Abhira and had herself went back to saree business. Armaan clenched his jaw when he saw Abhira with Anshuman but he reminded himself that he had no right on Abhira....Abhira had however told Anshuman No to his marriage proposal....She wanted to focus on firm and Pookie....Anshuman had requested her to forgive Armaan soon....But Abhira was hesitant...
A day before Maira's birthday,Abhira was in the kitchen baking a cake for her daughter....Armaan smiled seeing this and felt immense guilt of how he had deprived Abhira of everything....Abhira could feel Armaan's guilt from far away however this time she let him stew in it....Manisha and Kajal gushed looking at the cake.....At 12 both the happy parents sat near their Pookie's bed to wish her.....Abhira smothered Pookie with birthday kisses while Armaan was content seeing them...Maira hugged her mother tightly on receiving the kisses....Suddenly Maira went near Armaan who scotched to her level and hugged her tightly wishing her all the happiness.....
Maira (asking)-Will you fullfill any wish ?
Armaan (telling)-I will try level best....
Maira (telling)-Dont ever make my mumma unhappy again....
Armaan took a huge breath and hugged his princess tightly who gave him a wide smile....The house was busy next morning, there was a small party...Vidya was inquisitive as to why Kaveri had invited Geetanjali but Abhira after living with Kaveri for 7 years trusted her judgement,...Abhira got ready in a beautiful white saree while Armaan in his formals after a long time...It was just family and a few friends of Maira from dance class.....Soon the cake came and Maira was excited for it.....She pulled both her parents with her....Abhira still upset with Armaan but she wanted the best for her daughter and Armaan was her father.....Just as Geetanjali entered she saw Armaan,Maira & Abhira together cutting the cake and feeding their daughter, kissing her cheeks.....It felt like family....Vidya now understood why Kaveri had invited Geetanjali....Ruhi had smirked at Kaveri's genius....Geetanjali had handed the gift to helper and went away....Ruhi had took the gift and handed it to somebody else.....
Abhira was working in the living room with Krish when Armaan walked in...Abhira continued with her work while Krish went to sleep...
Abhira (talking)-We will coparent Maira....You clearly have your life together and Maira deserves her father as well...We are married but will have no relation let me make it very clear...We live together for our daughter who deserves a family after everything....
Armaan (confessing)-I love you
Abhira (coldly)-Yet you had no problem replacing me in my daughter's life Armaan....I love you but dont trust you....So just lets keep this arrangement for a while.....
