yes... they got to bring the essence of season 1 back, I don't know a lot about the story line then but two major plots that I have seen promos of are-

1. when Naitik was in coma, Akshara had stood strong, handled business and house and remained positive for her family

2. when Bhabhi ma had accused Akshara of being the reason behind Dadda ji's demise, Naitik had left house with her and had settled abroad. He had refused to return to Singhania house unless Akshara was accepted.

They stood by each other through those thick and thin times, I wish Akshara- Abhi to set new benchmarks.

1. The story is moving on. Many ITV shows hear the complaint that they're too slow. Like my mom used to watch GHKKPM and my brother came down one day and asked, "mom are you watching an old episode?" My mom said no, and he was shook cause he'd seen the cast wear the same outfits for almost two weeks cause that one day was not ending. I know some people are saying it's going too fast but it's hard to strike that balance in writing.
2. Communication between Abhira is starting! The conversation outside the hospital where Abhi voiced his concerns was beautiful and likewise, Akshu is learning to be upfront about her feelings. I like this version of Akshu way better than the mute sacrificial lamb we met in the beginning. I interpreted her conversation with Aaru as a warning - I see everything you're doing, just cause I don't create a scene doesn't mean I can't - and this interpretation makes me happy cause it shows her drawing boundaries.
3. The focus is shifting onto my favourite love triangle of all time, Harsh-Abhi-Manjari, with the Harsh Abhi clashes coming up. Plus, I'm excited to see how Manjari and Harsh's relationship unwraps. Abhi said in earlier episodes that he and his mom are doomed to love people who don't reciprocate. I want to see Manjari's love and understand where it came from. Harsh and Manjari do understand each other and I wonder if it's more than just conditioning and Stockholm syndrome on Manjari's part.
4. Akshu taunting Bade Papa and Mimi had my heart!
5. Watching Neirohi. Neil knows Aarohi very well, even more than Abhi knows Akshu. He understands her mood swings, her facial expression and his glances always land on her but why? He called her a manipulative liar yet he can't help but be captivated by her. I want to see where that goes and why this gravitation exists.
6. The classic YRKKH song and dance rituals are back with the flash mob

That wrap was quite something😆, I am sure if they would have kept Naira alive we would have seen Naira as the mother to Akshara that she had missed because she was away from Akshara all through her teens. Kartik, Naira, Kairav and Akshu would have made an adorable family.

Coming to the comparison with GHKKPM, damn.. if its something like this, why are their trps the way that they are?

And you rightly said that the season is just starting and there are so many things for them to unravel right now. I too am looking forward to the dynamics among the Birla family and why they are so.

Neil, I think that he is too good for Arohi, he deserves better. I am really not looking forward to their track.

Atleast here Harshad Chopda attracts in every scene. Abhiras chemistry is adorable. And less negativity. With wedding track starting I am more excited to see siblings bond and blushing and everything.

I too have lost interest in the show. I hardly watch it nowadays. Abhira come across as incompatible misfit couple. Kaisha are the weirdest couple than Abhira. Can the cvs at least start Neirohi story? I really want to see how their story begins.

I am against Neirohi. I get that you have budget constraints, get another orphan for Neil because he deserves better

Show is still on the track it was supposed to be with slight changes as per the episodes of the last couple of days, as far as I can tell. I know there has been a writers merry go around as per some threads by members. I am sure they are still sticking to the original character sheets but each writer is giving their own stamp as far as I can tell and Akshu seems to have entered her transformational arc already...

It seems to me, yrkkh theme as been reiterated and Abhira, despite being the leads for S3 and therefore hopefully more modern than the last 2 generation, will adhere to the theme of the show even though certain aspect of previous plot had made many viewers assume that this season will not be such intensely family driven as before. I guess the ongoing plot is to show the old with new plot twists.

- More family emphasis than love now.

- So heading for a clash with Harsh. Though he is coming across as incandescent with rage, he will accept the wedding. If not, Abhi can toss him aside without a backward look. Despite his harsh words, Harsh actually loves Abhi very, very much. In fact, I think he loves him more than Manjari. Poor guy is yearning for his son's love.

- Akshu will immediately try to sort their relationship

- Manjar mata will show her true colours, may reveal adoption secret ...that is why she was almost catatonic yesterday...

-Kaisha romance/wedding will also go ahead. I anticipate problems here by Mahima using Anisha the tool.😆

-Abhira will have some setbacks... by Arohi/Harsh/Mahima. I think maybe some of the old generation would come...Suleka (is that her name, AG's wife?) and maybe Luv as they were mentioned.

- Neel and Arohi love/hate relationship would start during the Abhira marriage track with tiny seeds sown...

Of course if the writers keep changing who knows what we will see. Trp also plays a factor...with Shaheer's show on (in the UK, it is the same time as yrkkh😲) more pressure on yrkkh team. I'm sure a close eye on trends will be kept and which ever does better we will be sure to see more of them.

I personally don't mind what we see as long as it does not come out randomly as that I cannot digest. It has to make sense, there has to be a sense of connection from before to now. People mentioning multiple marriages and etc, if it happens I'll be long gone....if it's starts veering to anything similar to Kaira marriage that will be the sign to move on.

Let's just see how it plays out...Abhi still needs to learn the importance of family...when Akshu finds out he is not inviting his dad, well I'm sure we all know which way it's heading.

All I understood is to have a little more patience, a little more skip through episodes. Other things I can still think but Kaisha and Neirohi romance? No thank you.

At the same time , fans have expectations from the show. The regular viewers I am talking about ..for new audience, it's still OK coz the basic essence of yrkkh is no vamps and villains . No ott negative characters...old fans have seen it and done that , they have seen kaira and naitik akshara and they will continue only if they find the s3 at par. Rs can't take the audience for granted , its a red flag that trps dropped by 0.7 in 3 weeks .

Bottom line. Audience itna bhi bewakoof nai hai. Ek also believed she can run the story for years only if leads have chemistry. She too had to shut down her after after 2 yrs. Buck up rs. Writing theek karo.
