Some of my good college friends are Indian and they watch ITV. So whenever I use to go over to their house and they had it on I would watch with them. When they don't have subtitles one of them would translate for me. So been watching shows on and off. I only started watching YRKKH because one of my friends found out Harshard was back and started watching and told me.

I watch on Hulu. But Hulu updates the subs like a day later. If I watch it when the epsiodes drops I have to watch it without subs unless I am lucky and they added the subs early for the day. I usually call up my friend so she can tell me what was going on in the epsiode and fill in any dialogue details. I then come on this forum and look for any episode recaps and analysis reviews. Next day I may rewatch the episode with subs.

Luckily I understand enough to paratake in discussions here 😆

As for my views I tend be the type of person who tries to see things from all sides. Doesn't mean I don't have my favorites I do. But I try to be understanding about another person's view point even if I disagree.

The efforts you put in are so adorable. đŸ„ș

And yeah, I also really like reading what you have to say. You seem to always find a middle ground. 😁

It’s secretly plotting Arohi. She has been jealous of Akshara since childhood, how can she be just good to her all of a sudden

The ABCD version of that is coconut...

That's awesome you got into Indian tv because of your college friends! My (non-Indian) roomie watches it with me sometimes and we've noticed the Hulu delay with the subtitles too. She usually makes it into a game and will make up the dialog based on the body language and actions of the characters - she cracks me up with the stuff she comes up withđŸ€Ł

We appreciate you, iheartchai - you're good people đŸ€—

Glad that you come and play on our side of the field even if you don't always agree!

I think more people on this forum have a soft spot for Arohi than they let on. Remember my poll asking if Arohi deserved to be left at the mandap or not? I could've sworn most people would vote she deserved it but it fell pretty close to 50-50 as I recall.

yes! I want to see strong aarohi who is focused on her career and not behind a guy who isn’t into her. I want to see ambitious aarohi with toned down expressions đŸ€ŁđŸ€ŁđŸ€Ł

Writers were following iccha nodi but now they are doing their own thing so probably which is why aarohi’s character changed overnight. In yeh rishta there are no villains. So potentially aarohi will get her own track and love story. So will Kairav.

Writers are now slowly moving towards yeh rishta essence đŸ€žđŸŒ

I don’t mind watching aarohi’s love story while she is moving ahead in her career. Neil being her friend / support would be nice to watch. As she doesn’t have any friend to share her feelings with. Neil can bring the subtle changes in her.
