Neil was irritating too today. What's with his always SOSing akshu whenever abhi throws a tantrum? And so she comes and randomly starts singing, our hero falls in her lap and cries himself to sleep.. What was that?? She even actually did that feathery touch from forehead to nose that is guaranteed to calm infants you know?

Because that is what every ITV FL has to do. Go and calm someone down and go put on detective hats to solve other people's problems rather they want them solved or not...or solved in the manner the ITV FL thinks it should be solved 😆

You're absolutely right - to some extent, expecting this show to go beyond the accepted ITV norms and tropes is like going to KFC and expecting a Big Mac. Aint never gonna happen... just have to figure out whether we can live with hot wings or fried chicken instead🤣

About Aarohi-- she's actually still quite consistent.. Her making up with her sister was not bcz she wants now to have good relations with her or that she now really thinks she should be forgiven, but only so aarohi herself can get some closure and move ahead without the burden of the hate bcz it had become too heavy to carry according to her.. 🤷‍♀️.. She's only thinking of herself still, not about akshu or anyone else.. I think she has only changed her tactics to get what she wants.. That's fine I just hope she doesn't try for jija again... want to see her with someone with more class.

And I totally buy her forgiving Akshu (of course makers can go a complete 180 degree) because I have also forgiven people because holding a grudge can be exhausting and you forgive for self preservation.

True - she is the most consistently written character (which really is the most important thing for me when it comes to enjoying fictional people). There is a bit of a disconnect with her red-hot rage in the post-wedding jilt episodes because nothing really happened to sublimate that seething anger. I can see her do something terrible against Akshu, like smash her precious guitar, and then this simmering down and realization of how burdensome her resentment has become would make more sense. She has changed her tactics to get what she wants - the question is, is revenge still what she wants? I'm not sure either way really...

I think she's over Jija (not that she was ever under him🤣)

Sometimes small miracles can happen. I take crispy over traditional chicken. Though my personal preference out of the fast food chicken joints is Popeyes. Spicy chicken and red beans and rice
