Bingo! It's really the same trope (young girl with an unfortunate background meets wordly wise man with his own issues). But Wide Sargasso Sea really puts into perspective why as adults we don't like this pairing quite as much.

arohi dont love abhi so she will never become such vamp who tries to break alliance of akshu to get abhi ...she can take revenge from abhi by another way

As for Neil and Aarohi the pairing does seem not very palatable but actually such couples with these differing personality traits are quite viable. Opposites attract and all that.. Seeing how Neil loves Abhi its possible that he may fall in love with the female version. And tho Aarohi thinks very little of Akshu's sweetness mainly bcz she thinks its an act, it doesn't mean that she wouldn't appreciate those same qualities in a man about whom she doesn't have any such suspicion.

I think Arohi only shares Abhimanyu's negative qualities but not his honesty and loyalty to family which is what I suspect Neil loves in him. As for Arohi, her first instinct towards Neil's sweetness will be to think here's someone else she can manipulate in the way she did Akshara😒

I honestly cannot see a logical path to these two getting together but obviously they will be endgame as per the actors themselves. The two arcs I could see happening are 1) Neil marries Arohi to defuse some situation which would cause harm to Abhimanyu and Akshara or 2) Neil is turned negative and joins forces with Arohi to hurt Abhimanyu and Akshara. From there, perhaps there will be some evolution of them developing real feelings and possibly redemption.

If Naira were to show up one day, Karthik would have run to her faster than a bullet. That is the bitter truth, however hard it might be for Arohi to swallow. Sirat was loved, no doubt, but would she ever be the first choice for Karthik? Nope. Which is why the show hasn't talked about Naira vs Sirat in this season. Because when you spend 5 years telling a couple's love story, it's hard to get on board with a couple that was on screen for barely 6 months and defend them to be eternal lovers. Even the promos were about Karthik and Naira's next peedhi coming in. Sirat was a place holder so that this season and Aarohi could be introduced, imho.

And what is the "soulmate wala love" please? The kind which ends in multiple separations and divorce? Or the kind that doesn't let you see and understand your loved one's life priorities? Or the the one that leads you to emotionally blackmail and strong-arm your loved one?

Thanks but give me the Kartik-Sirat love anyday, which was based on undertanding eo's hurt and loss, priorities, needs and most importantly trust, a very strong friendship and commitment to the relationship. Which actually enabled them to live peacefully continuously for nine years! (And would've been more if the makers hadn't decided to bring the generation leap and the Ichhe Nodee remake🙄)

But, on the other hand, they did show enough of supernatural isharay from both Krishnaji and Mahadevji and garlands flying around each other and mysterious prophecies etc.. that kartik and Sirat were each other's destiny. 🤣

As for Kartik running to Naira faster than a bullet if she were to show up one day.. Er.. I don't think so. I would expect better than that from the extremely compassionate and mature, rational man he became after Naira.. Waise Kartik was always a very chivalrous guy so I don't think he would've done that. 😆

The first option only, bcz Neil isn't going to turn negative definitely..
