Abhimanyu is selfish in his love for Akshara, and is not out to harm anyone, which is very different from Arohi's selfish behaviour which always works to sap the life and happiness out of Akshara.

I don't agree here. The biggest harm he will cause to Akshara. He doesn't even understand her or her priorities. He keeps saying he does, but his actions speaks louder that he doesn't. He is as delusional as Aarohi.

I had no issues when they showed that he fell in love with her in three days. But now I don't honestly what he has for her is love. It is just a very unhealthy obsession and relationships that literally scares me. Akshara is going to be so suffocated because he is so obnoxious. She wanted him to leave and not disrespect her bade papa, but he kept doing it like a psycho.

Arohi actively and explicitly abuses and harasses Akshara regularly. We've been seeing it from day 1. Just because people want to hate on Abhimanyu, there's no need to defend an abuser and a harasser.

Everything is subjective here. I started the topic because of the cognitive dissonance that I keep seeing, because there seems to be different rule books for different people. Like the same behavior portrayed by the hero is overlooked because he is the hero.

Again, it could be the lived experiences. As far as I am concerned, I don't want both Abhimanyu and Aarohi in my life. And if my sibling turned out to be like Aarohi, there is nothing I can do because you can't pick and choose siblings.
