the only serial i know which was banned by tv in India ( i dont know govt has done or not) was peheredaar piya ki 😕...i dont know why ppl demands to ban ...girl child marriage is ok to watch for them ...but boy is young nd girls is old they cant watch ...double standards😃

its still in zee5 all episodes i checked..may be till 10 episodes they made.

They were supposed to renew it for season 2. Because the story is on a cliffhanger kind of in season 1

i read news nd i found its not banned in India ...so may be they will release season 2 for India zee 5 ...In Indian platform there are many controversial series which are already going on...here banned is not so easy because govt still has no control on OTT...they can only issue statement to netflix or amazon to remove scenes if it is related to controversy in politics or degrade military..thats it.

Pakistani dramas I would highly recommend to everyone.Some are insanely good. As someone already mentioned Yakeen Ka Safar and then Ranjha Ranjha Kardi, Pyar ke Sadqay, Cheekh, Bala, Ehd E Wafa, Suno Chanda, Man Mayal, Alif, Parizaad and Inkaar. These are some that I can think of at the top of my head. There are more too.

also if you want to watch a show that has ended already and is very controversial and you don’t mind nangu people….GAME OF THRONES (though the last season is…well disappointing, still one of the greatest shows)

otherwise I do watch Grey’s anatomy that has been running longer than YRKKHH 🤦🏻‍♀️


Otherwise I enjoy Pakistani dramas…they are always less then 30 episodes (most of the time) and again brilliant writing and performances. My most favorite being YAKEEN KA SAFAR

Nangu people 🤣 Yeah.. all the explicit sex and gore got too much after a while...

I have to say I liked the books better but since the series is probably never going to be finished, I'll make do with the (less than desirable) closure from the show...
