@Mimilulu Must say this..after seeing Saami song..I am so disgusted..ki I am going to quit this show..but then I should also also say you are a much better writer than Dimri and I would not mind reading all 26 chapters again..tum logon ko banna chahiye show ka writers..I am happy with this OS than the farce called Yeh rishta..

Chapter 27

Few weeks before the baby was due, Aarohi came back from London. Along with Badi Mama, she went to visit Akshu one day at Birla House with bags and bags full of gifts for the baby and Akshu.

Once Badi Mama and Aarohi got to Birla House, they found Akshu sitting on the sofa with her swollen belly, holding a cat while Manjiri was trying to get her to eat something. Aarohi tried not to laugh seeing her tiny petit sister struggling to sit straight with what looked like a basketball under her kurta.

“Maa, please! I don’t like this daal bhatti!” Akshu said turning her face around.

“Akshu! Kal sara din mere peeche thi ke main tumhare liye daal bhatti banao aur aaj nahi kahna hai tumhe. Chup chap Mia ko neeche rakho. Subah se you haven’t eaten anything.”

“Please maa. The smell is making me sick. Can we order Chinese please?” Akshu said pouting.

“Yes! Chinese! Chachi please!” Nishta said.

“Chinese toh mujhe bhi kahna hai.” Aarohi said and Akshu looked up to see her sister by the door.

“Aaru!” Akshu couldn’t believe her eyes. Was that really Aarohi? She tried to get up but struggled.

“Sit Akshu.” Aarohi went to her and gave her a hug. Akshu looked at her stunned. Aarohi has not given Akshu a hug since Sirat Mama…..

“Aaru! I can’t believe you are here! Badi Mumma!” Akshu looked at her Badi Mama with tears in her eyes. Badi Mama nodded and smiled.

“Arrey main Masi bane wali hoon toh mujhe toh har haal mein aana tha.” Aaru smiled at Akshu.

“Acha main kuch kahne ke liye lahti hoon.” Manjiri told her guests.

“Maa! Please, Chinese! Mujhe nahi chaiye, baby ko chaiye.” Akshu begged her.

“Acha baba. Nishta, Chinese order kar lo apni bhabi aur Aarohi ke liye.” Manjiri laughed.

The two sisters spent the day in Akshu’s room talking. Akshu had to pinch herself several times to see if she was dreaming.

“Aaru, I really can’t believe you are in front of me now!” Akshu said with her eyes filling up with tears again. These days, Akshu needed no excuse to start crying.

“Akshu, I owe you an apology. Maine tere saath bohat bura kiya. Meri wajah se you had to go through so much. Mujhe yeh sirf tab ehsaas hua when I was in London and met Vinay.”

“Kaun, Vinay?” Akshu raised an eyebrow.

“Mera boyfriend. Vinay has taught me to look at everything differently. And I really do feel bad about the things I’ve said and done to you. Will you ever forgive me?”

“Pagal ho kya? Tum meri behn ho. Jo hua woh past mein hai. I’ve long forgotten it.” Akshu hugged Aaru.

Just then Abhi came to the room holding some bags.

“Jaan, they only had this brand of ice cream…it’s still the same flavor.” He looked up to see the two sisters sitting on his face.

“Aarohi?!?!” Abhimanyu said in shock. He tried to control his anger. He still remembered everything she had said to his Akshu.

“Hello, Abhimanyu.” Aarohi said softly. She could sense Abhi’s anger.

“Abhi! Ice cream do!” Akshu didn’t notice the shift in the mood. “Pata hai, pehle na mujhe ice cream ke naam se nafrat thi now all I want is ice cream.” She pulled out a ice cream bar from the bag. “Abhhiii…..not this one. This one has too many nuts.” Akshu said making a face.

Aarohi laughed. “Wait! Since when did you start hating ice cream? Akshu, kuch bhi!”

“Nooo. In the beginning of this pregnancy, I couldn’t stand ice cream. These pregnancy cravings are crazy….”

Abhimanyu decided to step out of the room as he watched the two sisters chatting and laughing away. Akshu looked so happy, he didn’t want to ruin her mood. He would talk to Aarohi later.

“I can’t believe Dr. Abhimanyu Birla is running around getting ice cream for you.” Aarohi said in disbelief.

Akshu laughed. “Abhi will do anything for me.”

“Enjoy it now…..baby ke aane ke baad toh he will forget you.” Aarohi joked. Akshu looked at her in horror. “Mazak kar rahi hoon, chill Akshu.”

When Akshu was busy with showing Badi Mama the new shopping for the baby, Abhimanyu took Aarohi outside to the garden.

“Aarohi, I don’t know what’s going on in your mind but do not mess around with Akshu.”

“Abhimanyu, your anger is justified but trust me. I really am sorry for my past behavior and I’ve changed. Even Akshu has forgiven everything and moved on. Can you please do the same?”

Abhimanyu laughed. “Meri Akshu jaisa koi nahi. Nobody can have a heart like hers. She will forgive anyone if the other person just smiles at her. But sorry, I’m not like her. I don’t forget or forgive especially when it comes to my Akshu. But I can’t keep you away from Akshu either but I’m warning you, if you do anything to hurt her, mujhse bura koi nahi hoga.”

“Aisa kuch nahi hoga.”

Abhimanyu walked back into the house not believing Aarohi at all.

After Aarohi and Badi Mama left, Abhi found Akshu on the bed deep in thought. Abhi went and sat next to her.

“Kya hua, jaan?”

“Abhi. Kya tum mujhse bohat pyar karte ho?” Akshu turned to look at him.

“Koi shaq?”

“Abhi toh nahi magar everyone says ke once the baby comes, you will forget me.”

“Haan yeh toh hai. Jab meri beti aayegi toh obviously I’ll only love her.” Abhi said grinning.

“Tum baby ke liye mujhe bhool jaoge?” Akshu said angrily.

“Akshu kya tum meri beti se jealous ho rahe ho?” Abhi teased her.

Akshu’s lips started to quiver. “Oh my God! Abhi, I am the worst mumma ever!” She bursted into tears. “Apne baby se kaun jealous hota hai?”

“Jaan. I’m just kidding.” He took her in his arms. “You are going to be the best Mumma ever, okay? And how can I ever forget you?”

“Sab keh rahe hain ke baby ke aane ke baad, you will forget me.” Akshu sobbed into his shirt.

“Akshu, look at me.” Akshu sat up. “Yes I do love this baby more than life itself but not more than you. You were, are and always will be my biggest love. Nobody can come near that, not even our baby. If I ever had to choose….I’ll always choose you. Always.”

“No, Abhi. You never will have to choose…and but for any reason that you have to, you will choose our baby. Always. Promise me?”

“Well, let’s hope I never have to choose….”

In the next few weeks, the two sisters spent a lot of time together. They had a lot to catch up on and seeing them together laughing away made the Goenkas very happy too.

Aarohi even planned a surprise baby shower for Akshu where she was even more loved and spoiled. Akshu kept on hugging Aarohi with the biggest smile on her face.

Three weeks before the baby was due, the two sisters went to get lunch.

“Akshu tume aisa khush dekh ke mujhe itni khushi ho rahi hai.” Aarohi said as she drove the car to drop Akshu off.

“Main sach mein bohat khush hoon. Mujhe meri behn mil gayi. Main maa bane wali hoon. Aur Abhi….Abhi ke pyar ne mere Zindagi ki saari kamiyan mitta di.”

“Abhimanyu bohat excited hai na baby ke liye?” Aarohi smiled at Akshu.

“Haan bohat ziyada….Matlab pagalon ki tarah excited hai.” Akshu laughed.

As the sisters continued to laugh, they failed to notice a rash driver coming at them in full speed.

Aarohi will spend hours later on trying to remember exactly what happened in the last few seconds before her sister’s happy life turned upside down.

Abhimanyu rushed to Birla Hospital. He was out for a meeting at their NGO when his dad called him to tell him to come to the hospital as Akshu was not feeling well.

As soon as he got there, Parth was waiting for him at reception. Why is Parth here? Maybe he drove Akshu here. Parth motioned him to follow him and led him to the emergency surgery wards.

“Bhai, Kya hua? Kya hua Akshu ko? Ho theek hai na? Baby theek hai na?”

Parth continued to walk in silence. In the waiting room, he saw both of the families in tears. Mimi had her head on Bade Papa’s shoulder with tears streaming down her face. He noticed Aarohi covered in blood sitting in a chair with Badi Mama, in complete shock. Akshu was with her…whose blood is on Aarohi?? He was about to go to her when Manjiri saw him.

“Abhi!” She ran to him and hugged him crying. “Abhi…Akshu!”

“Kya hua Akshu ko? Kahan hai meri Akshu!” Abhi started to scream. “Tell me where is my Akshu? Maa! Where’s Akshu?”

“Akshu, OT mein hai. Calm down, Abhimanyu.” His father went up to him.

“Why? Koi mujhe batayega! I’m going in the OT!” Abhi rushed toward the OT. Anand stopped him.

“Abhimanyu, you can’t go in. Even Mahima is not allowed as she’s family.”

“KOI MUJHE BATAO MERI AKSHU KO KYA HUA HAI!” Abhimanyu screamed louder.

“Abhimanyu. I’ll tell you.” Mahima said as she came to the waiting room with another doctor. “Akshara was in a very bad accident with a drunk driver hitting Aarohi’s car. The doctors are doing their best so please calm down. This is Dr. Gupta. He has a lot of experiences in such cases so he will assist Dr. Roy today.”

“I want to go in the OT. I don’t give a damn about the rules. I need to be with my Akshu.”

“Abhimanyu, please. Don’t make things more complicated.” Mahima told him off.


Dr. Gupta went in the OT. Everyone waited and prayed. For Akshu. For the baby. Abhimanyu could not stay in one place and it felt like each minute was dragging on for days. Finally after what seemed like hours, Dr. Gupta came out and everyone rushed to him.

“How’s Akshu?” Abhimanyu said.

“Akshara is in a very fragile state. She’s losing a lot of blood and we can’t get that to stop. We are trying our best to save at least Akshara or her baby.”

Everyone looked at him in shock.

If you ever had to choose, you will choose our baby. Akshu’s words echoed in Abhi’s ears. Promise me, you will always choose our baby.

“No! I don’t care about anything. You HAVE to save my Akshu. Just save her.” Abhi cried.

“Dr. Abhimanyu. You are a doctor and I don’t want to give you false hope but at this point that doesn’t seem like a possibil…”

Abhi grabbed the Doctor’s neck and with gritted teeth said to him, “You ARE going to save my Akshu. There is no possibility for anything else!”

“Abhimanyu yeh kya kar rahe ho tum?” Kairav, Vansh and Parth pulled him away from Dr. Gupta.

“Pagal ho gaye ho?” Anand said to Abhi. “Dr. Gupta, please do your best.” Dr. Gupta went back to the OT.

“Agar meri Akshu ko kuch bhi hua toh aag laga doonga iss purey Hospital, iss puri duniya ko!!” Abhi screamed. “Meri Akshu ko kuch nahi hona chaiye!”

“Abhi! Shaant ho jao! Apney Mahadev se prathna karo ke ho Akshu aur tumhare bache ko bacha le.” Manjiri hugged Abhi.

In her corner, Aarohi was still in shock. Dr. Mahima saw her sitting there in silence, still covered in Akshu’s blood. The car had hit Akshu’s side of the car.

“Parth, Neil. …please Aarohi ko check-up karney ke liye ke jao. She’s hurt too.” Dr. Mahima told them.

“No. No main kahi nahi jaongi. Akshu….” Aarohi started to cry.

“Aaru. Zid mat karo. Jao. Vansh tum apni behn ke saath jao.” Badi Mama said.

It was almost 2 hours later and the OT door was still closed. Abhimanyu was sitting next to his mother, a little calm and lost in Akshu’s thoughts. He smiled thinking about the night before when Akshu kept on struggling to hold her guitar because of her swollen belly. Agar main guitar nahi play karongi toh yeh baby bhi besura hoga tumhari tara. Abhi let out a small chuckle. His mom gave him a concerned look.

Just then, Dr. Gupta and Dr. Roy came out. Abhimanyu ran to them with everyone else following.

“How is my Akshu?”

“Dr. Abhimanyu, she’s out of danger now.” Dr. Gupta smiled at him. Abhimanyu fell to his knees.

“Bhagwan ka lakh lakh shukar! Meri bachi theek hai!” Mimi cried. Everyone hugged each other except Mahima.

“And the baby?” Mahima asked.

Is this the longest chapter? Don’t kill me…I can’t just make it happy happy all the time…there will be no story then

Mujhe bhi Chinese Khana hai...aapki beti pregnancy mein bhi accident...itna pain kyun.. Ab Abhi hi aag laga denga... Waise mazza aaya padkar... Very Lovely ❤️❤️❤️
