Talk About Baseless Romance

Okay this is gonna be an extremely controversial topic and ofc i expect differences in opinions but please kindly refrain from personal attacks and bashing. Constructive criticisms are always welcome :)

So about today's episode - aren't they dragging this whole fall and catch thing a bit too far at this point? I was watching the whole AbhiRa scene with such a bored face. Where is the variety in scenes? where is the essence? Where is the intensity? I could see none today. Abhimanyu's acting was good and so was Akshara's but I am talking about the scene as a whole. What is this ritual of having Akshara fall everytime she meets Abhimanyu? I'm not saying I haven't seen it before. Talk about IPKKND, ArShi used to have these fall-catch scenes all the time. But every single scene had a variation, circumstances and a new angle to them. Here, everytime Akshara turns, she loses her balance? and then today everytime a balloon popped, she got scared and then lost her balance? every single time? seriously?! Honestly speaking, it was quite cringe to watch.

I feel like the only way we can get good abhira scenes is by having either of the two day-dream. This couple has SO much potential. I don't understand why they are wasting it on just these fall and catch scenes. I also understand that their relationship hasn't developed to a level where these two can have proper romantic moments. LOL, but then i'm not even asking for a proper romantic moment. Give these two some MEANINGFUL few minutes - they don't even need to have physical contacts. Just a normal conversation may be. I don't know about others but I will be very happy with a unromantic yet rational scene than having such dry baseless "romance" that makes no sense whatsoever.

Also, are they really introducing this Ruby angle now? What's the connection? Like why?! Her scenes honestly look so comical and so very unrealistic. Matlab, one of the best heart surgeons in the town and some girl called Ruby can just walk into his cabin and start touching him? Like seriously?! I remember in Tere Liye, Anurag (HC) had faced similar problems where his Ex fiance (Nupur) returns and start behaving like she has the full right on him (and at this time anuraag finally realized his feelings for the FL). but that track was plausible because they had a history together. Here a random girl who he never saw except that one time when he was supposed to see her for a check up but eventually didn't due to the obvious circumstances of akshu's panic attack that day, can just come in and splay her hand all over a surgeon's body and act like an obsessive lover? EVEN if you are an obsessive psycho, I have always seen the plot to build to the point where the person can make such intimate moves. The way this Ruby Track is unfolding makes zero sense to me.

Also, it has been quite clear how deep Abhi's feelings are for Akshu. and the reasons are honestly quite justified. but How far into this "I love you but i cant say it" relationship is akshu at? Why are there no development on her side of the story? Abhi fell so hard for her because she really did remind him of his maa, her selfless nature, her kindness, her melodious voice - everything just healed him and. But Akshara - where are the connections? I'm not saying love at first sight doesn't happen. I wholeheartedly embraced AbhiRa's fast tracked love story. But it's like they are not putting effort on Akshu's angle of this love story. Honestly, i would have preferred if akshu had feelings for abhi from the beginning but truly fell for him AND confessed to herself AFTER the makers showed some REAL heart to heart connections - maybe by making abhi help her come out of her panic attacks, finding better ways to manage the symptoms, finding ways to deal with mental health problems, and just in general molding her to be stronger, instead of having akshara lose her balance at the drop of the hat and abhimanyu act like her body guard every single time they come face to face🥱

I don't think what we saw as the first interaction between Abhimanyu and Ruby is actually the first. They kind of established early itself that there's a health minister's daughter who keeps coming for check ups. And Harsh keeps pushing him to take the appointments and how Abhi is super annoyed about it.

Agree... Dream sequences are good then this real one.

They were planning this Ruby track from first episode coz he was annoyed and he said he prescribed Churan from parchun ki dukaan in first episode only. They already had Aarohi don't know why they introduced Ruby

I agree with you, their chemistry was missing today, I enjoyed their dream scenes more. The jealousy scene was cute but apart from that the spark wasn’t really there.

I really hope they put a closure to this ruby track because it doesn’t make sense and it’s just elongating the inevitable.

A conversation between Akshu and Abhi is needed, he needs to understand her and she needs to understand what she wants, for how long will she live for others, she needs to look out for her future too

But Yh they’ve stretched it so much, we need a proper conversation after she saves him from the case and hopefully the story moves ahead smoothly

It also feels like the writers have no consistency and flow with the story telling. Like they don't have an arc. So they keep introducing new dramatic incident in every episode. Like Tilak, rejection, going away, birthday, molestation. No one's life is that happening.

I am sure the writer just sits down and be like okay, what do we do for tomorrow's epsiode? Next will be a terrorist attack in Birla Hospital and Akshu will be a NSG commando. 🤣

Thank god im not the only one! I was so looking forward to the episode , i even made a post about how exciited i am. But idk why i didnt feel anything at all today. This whole girna and pakadna stuff is getting on my nerves. Remember in the dream they also started it woth a fall and catch scene but it looked so good and i think thats because it jad a different angle to it as you mentioned. Like idk soemthing was different that we all liked the catch and fall in dream so so much!

I also agree with showing akshu’s side to this love story. Especially having them build the foundation based on abhi helping akshu managing her panic attack symotoms. That would be so nice to see.

Anyway lets hope for better episodes from tomorrow :(

They can't make Akshara feeling jealous for Arohi. So her feelings for Abhimanyu come out through Ruby . Ruby always comes for checkup as she likes him and he avoids her. He is clearly not interested in her. He is deeply in love with Akshara. Ruby stalked him regarding Akshara and her rejection , moving away too. With Ak rejection Abhimanyus feelings didn't change. During tilak time Abhi said my love has insulted me infront of all but my love is true and I am not wrong. So Akshara saving him from Ruby will be the same her saving Abhis and Birlas respect infront of society.

I Agree.

This fall n catch is getting to me now. More importantly to fall in this same artistic manner each time. Some days it can just he about catching her up close straight coz she just collided. Like during the puja scene in Hospital. How does some one fall like that unless they have bad knee sockets.

Also agree the scenes today were very mechanical. I was watching a normal series episode the usual magic was missing for me.

I am happy though- means my life can come back to normal otherwise Harshad has once again taken over my productive and creative side of my brain.

Aweee…. IPKKND comparison….. I have been meaning to do this kind of comparison for a some time. Mostly about the ML character n situations.

SO true- if these two love each other please send them on an exploration mission.

Or realistically ---

1. Maybe she could join the NGO.

2. Maybe they could meet at the temple since Abhi is a Shiv bhakt.

3. Or he goes to buy something for his mom and meets akshara there. SO many things could have happened.

4. They could have shown that Akshara goes to the garden where she was supposed to meet Abhi and sees that he is sitting there and thinking if things could have been different if they had taken sometime to talk to each other.

Seriously, who is this Health minister?? Lalu Prasad kind are so passe I have no idea which Girl walks into a Surgeons office and how a surgeon keeps on changing clothes like that.

Ruby has come many times with all sorts of ailment bahanas- but looks like she has decided she needs no reason at all to see Dr. Abhi anymore.

More importantly why isn’t he learning to lock the room when he is changing or sleeping?

She knows about Akshara and her rejection--- My my how is that happening? Is she friends with Arohi?

I understand Akshara and Abhimanyu falling for each other simultaneously because that Gopi Dance festival pairing is a good reason to let your heart fly if you are attracted to someone. Just saying. And akshara believes in such superstitions.

Then to show -

Akshara’s reason to say no because of her sister.

Leaving the house because of Kairav.

Say yes to arrange his birthday party because of Neil's request.

And come back coz of that. It all is a lot to take.

If she is such a giver and people pleaser. Shouldn’t she be much more stronger than falling at every sneeze and blast.

There I wound up back and wrapped it all to the very mundane routine of fall-catch coz seriously today it was too much.
