I dont know about the second generation as I never followed it but as far as Hina Khan's season goes, it was never topping the charts constantly. It was always in top 5 and that was a good thing. It had topped during its initial weeks and wedding but Diya aur Batti used to be the anupama back then and had taken the no. 1 slot and after that, naagin.

Of course the makers should now try and make it better so it increases but hey top 5 isnt bad.

Agree completely. Half of the Goenka family is missing, where is surekha, luv and kush.. Goenkas dont seem to be gelling well, like they did in previous season.

They also have to get away from the sister sacrifice track if they can.

I think that was during the wedding track and even Akshara's wedding had high trps as far as I remember. If they get Abhira married then people will be like its rushed. But my point was that I don't think Yeh Rhista has ever been no. 1 on a regular basis and this is since season 1. Second generation was even top 8 sometimes (i remember during BB11 and BB13 days I used to see the charts) but it was still good considering the competition. It has survived due to being in top 5 constantly so i dont see the issue here. If it slips from top 5 then that's a worry.

I'm not disappointed. I have started watching yrkkh/Indian daily soap again after like 5 years just for abhira so for me they have a spark that the previous Jodi didnt. But that's just my opinion. For some this new Jodi will be much better and for others, the older Jodie will be better.

Kaira had a good amount of screen space since the start. But here it's been like a lifetime since we saw any abira scenes. Then how can we see their chem. Maybe we can only see in dreams like how abira dream.

Not any old abhira scenes, we need substantial abhira scenes with meaning. I personally dont like Arohi triangle nonsense so if they can cut her out of their lives then thatd be great.

I think they do need to shift to Birlas now. I want to see how they explore the sister rivalry between Manjri and Mahima (it is not love triangle so its interesting) and Manjri in general. Birlas have a lot of conflict so exploring that will help I think with Abhira being centre of it all of course.

Writers might add romance tadka in current track to attract trp. Abhira wedding is off the cards for next 2-3 months atleast. Cos they need to build a fanbase first.

Same here, this and ippknd are the only shows I’ve watched, and this is the only season YRKKH I’ve watched and that’s for Abhira.
