I'm pretty sure Akshara will have no choice but to reject his proposal to her. The optics of the situation would look bad if she says she wants to be with Abhimanyu when her sister's engagement just broke.
I mean what kind of sister would she be knowing that Arohi would be hurt by what just happened (despite the fact we the audience have no sympathy for Arohi due to her unreasonable, abusive, and petty behavior towards Akshara).
And it is also clear that the Birla's came for Arohi not Akshara especially since Harshvardhan wants Arohi to be the Birla's bahu. He does not like Akshara because she reminds him of Manjari. And I don't think the elder brother would care for Akshara either.
