Am I the only one who thinks that Kartik and Vedika might not be married after all?

After watching today's scene where Naira told Kartik to go look after his wife, I just felt that there might be more to the story. Kartik is not the sort of a person to not flinch at the mention of a third person between them. He has had no reaction whatsoever to this marriage, not when he sees Vedika acting as his wife, not when Naira addresses Vedika as Kartik's wife and not when he's in close proximity to Naira. It's always Naira who keeps remembering about the marriage and promising Vedika that she would leave.

Kartik and Vedika haven't had one proper conversation about their marital status, Kartik stills wants Naira to come back, yet he doesn't really mind Vedika's presense?

Maybe I am reading too much into the scenes but Kartik's behaviour seems really odd. It is possible that he's completely selfish, he married Vedika for the sake of his family and now, doesn't care about her at all because of his son and Naira, or that there's more to the story.

Rajan Shahi said the track would have a positive end. I don't see how the track would end on a positive note with Kartik being married to someone else, even if the marriage was nullified. Secondly, the cvs didn't waste screen time on showing the actual marriage, would they be willing to show them getting divorced, etc, considering even Pankhuri has to leave the show. Maybe the marriage would be declared illegal but even if that happens, what role would Kartik play?

well the bottom line is that naira is the heroine of this show ...not vedika. This show is all about naira and karthik..vedika is just a temporary side character brought in to create drama and increase trps by creating havoc in kairas life ...Vedika will be exiting soon...so the makers of the show really don’t care much for her ...that’s why her character development is stunted,.there’s absolutely nothing to vedika...she’s just used to create some spice to kairas scenes...I really don’t know why Pankhuri did this insignificant role when she’s usually a lead actress.... Pankhuri just did it to be associated with a big production house and show. She said so herself. She might have done lead roles in the past but did she gain popularity for them? I am sure the amount of buzz she got for playing this spineless character is the most she has gotten in her whole career.

I would say Pankhuri is better than this. She has a Bollywood movie offer so she is anxious to leave this show. She has been offered a role in "Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan" with Ayushmann Khurrana.

And that is great for her. I really like her but the character vedika has no essence to it.

@bold that's unanswered question...because nobody who mostly did lead roles would waste his/her talent on a show where she will be shown for 1-2 minutes dancing parallel to FL...where even during their dance FL's dance moves will have close ups and will be captured more than hers during her 1-2 minute SS...or she is either showed serving food, giving monotonous expressions when Kaira are in close proximity, mumbling something to her own self or saying 1-2 delusional dialogues every day...finally watched episodes before Kaira's face off..There was only a single scene from the time she entered in show where she got a chance to perform was...when she saw Kartik's jail room with marked days since his Naira died...she requested everyone not pressurize Kartik...it was more elaborate scene...where she got to speak more than two line dialogues....apart from that her role is truly insignificant...Naira is stubborn or morally incorrect in so many ways but she is still keeping her integrity and promise when Vedika's own namesake husband is trying to win her back....Vedika on the other hand is nobody individually...she has no identity apart from being delusional zimedari...In her scenes with KD its mostly KD who speaks and gives gyan to her...In her scenes with Naira...Naira is the one who keeps repeating same dialogues over and over again and she just listens...She had no proper conversation or scenes with Kartik specifically after their namesake marriage....Maybe now after seeing Kartik and Naira together....she has a breaking point...or confront both of them...

No one talking about the episode? Naira's outfit looked like she was drowning in it. She is a small girl but the outfit made her look bigger and was overwhelming. Interesting precap. Does Vedika catch them in the act of breaking Teej fast together?

That is not true. She is most popular for Razia Sultan. She has her own fans. She is suitable for intelligent shows not made for this high voltage drama.

I found the episode very underwhelming vis a vis what I expected. Regarding the dress , I too found she looked bulky in it, when I first saw the pictures I was doubtful if it was Shivangi. Infact in the promos I felt it was her body double. Even during janmashtmi I found her overdressed.

I m waiting to see whether Kartik will believe her or understand she's making up things to escape his question.

I too wondered about body double because something didn't look right and I'm not able to point a finger at it. In some photos her face looked really round so I was wondering if some editing was done to the photos posted. Anyway so what is next? Is it the Liza drama or is Vedika going to say something? Don't know what to expect.

Lol...she has gained weight that’s it. Even I couldn’t recognise her when the pics were first released.

Also, she did look nice in the episode but it was too much for Teej. Literally looked like a bride.
