Kartik And Naira

I am silent reader in this forum. But today I want to rant a bit after watching the last few episodes.

I know Naira made a terrible mistake by running away with her child and letting her family think she is dead. I have no idea what made her take such drastic step. I mean, I understand how devastated she must have felt after Kartik's question. At first I tried to see her POV, maybe she thought ki anyway everyone thinks I am dead, if I walk away now no one can question my character or question my child. But then, is that something enough to walk away from the ur family that has always supported you? I was frustrated and angry at her. Well, now I think trying to understand was a waste of time as from the beginning the writers wanted to potray Naira in such a way that it justifies Kartik getting remarried. Most of us are only blaming Naira for all that has happened and even justifying the wedding saying she made it happen or she deserves it.

But, is Kartik right in all this? Is he not at fault? All this mess started because Kartik couldn't trust his wife or their great Love. Is questioning your wife's character ok? Why do our serials show such things as not big deal? Why don't they handle such issues well? Why do we very rarely see a man being called out for his mistakes? All family members are so furious at Naira right now and I understand their frustration. But Kartik mocking Naira by calling her his ex and introducing his new wife just made me feel sick. That was neither the place or time to mock her. Naira should mock him to saying, Beta, this is ur great father who always said he loved me to death. But he believed other people and couldn't even trust me? And when pressured, he readily married someone else.

No words for the mahaan Goenka's, as always they are ready to put the whole blame of all the problems in Kartik's life since his birth on Naira. Just WOW! These people didn't change a bit since the day their characters were introduced. I at the least wanted Naksh to react to the point that, Kartik questioned his sister's character. But he was like, ok Kartik questioned her but she should have come to us. how could she disappear?? Like it was not a big deal. Seriously? The scene should have been like, how dare Kartik questioned my sister? I will not forgive him for what he put her though. And Naira, why didn't she come to us? She knows, I always support her. Why couldn't she trust me?

All I want to say is, Naira's actions were damn wrong. We all both us and onscreen characters made that very clear. We are disappointed and angry at her. But we shouldn't forget that Kartik is also to be blamed in all this. I really hope CV's don't just shove Kartik's mistake under Naira's blunder. They messed up everything to justify this marriage.

Why is it always Naira??? She is blamed even when she's not at fault and here I admit she made the most unrealistic stupid mistake and I'm desperately waiting for the makers to put some light on this cuz I for one dont understand why she went to such extreme measures. But putting Nairas faults aside is Kartiks mistakes actually small? I dont think so! This needs to be addressed so that the message can be put through that women who work and are successful are not characterless and no one I mean no one has the right to ask such degrading question to put a women's self esteem down. I'm not even gonna bother with Goenkas.. Its not an issue if their daughter runs someone down and their belovedkittucan never be wrong but Naira she needs to be punished even when she's not at fault. And yes I was expecting Naksh to be angry with Naira but not like this.
