Gayu...And Chachu....

Since when has Gayu gone so selfish..all she’s interested is in Vansh and her place in the Goenka household and not being ursurped first by vedika and now by kairav...was Gayu always this way. I remember scenes with the old Gayu who was very close to naira..like blood sisters..so I’m surprised at this Gayu. I have to be honest I haven’t watched every episode of yrkkh because some tracks are so boring so maybe I haven’t seen Gayus true colors before. and as for chachu...well he’s obviously having a full blown affair with Liza for a few years it seems...from Liza’s conversation with naira..So how can his marriage survive this.?.seems like there’s lots of underhand business going on in yrkkh and goenka household ..extra marital affairs and now bigamy or double marriage ...maybe even with both wives coming to live in the same house 🤔

I can confirm gayu was never like this as I watched the show since kaira's entry and gayu was quite naive really, but grounded and sweet. She was never shown as selfish, but I guess circumstances change people and what happened to her after vivaan's death changed her. I'm not too surprised really because samarth seems to have changed too. At least even before the leap gayu was shown as concerned about her position and lack of acceptance in the house even before the leap after her marriage with samarth due to dadi, but now it has gotten worse, so there is consistency in gayu from now and when just before they had this 5 year leap. It is samarth's behaviour that is weird post leap. He willingly wanted to marry gayu and accepted her before leap and looked happy with her, yet after leap doesn't seem to give any warmth to gayu or her son who he willingly accepted before marrying gayu. If anything, it was samarth having an affair that made more sense to me than chachu because his behaviour and attitude with gayu and her son has become cold and ignorant.

It looks like she expected Karthik to be the father figure for Vansh that he doesn't have. She is insecure that Karthik will now be more focused on Kairav and now that he is remarried will not prioritize Vansh like he used to.

After leap they showed Gaya/Samar's relation as cold. Maybe Gayu never loved Samar and as a result he became cold and distant. For her he was just a provider of a marriage so she could raise Vansh in a respectful environment.

Samar had turned too cold ..just to highlight how good is mahaan kartik with Vansh....

This is my first comment on YRKKH forum, since I was 10 years ago an active member of Kis Desh.

First, I do watch Yeh rishta and I will not lie that I am not that a very very big fan of Kaira as I was of Premeer (Kis desh) oh that couple made me go nuts like some of you are going for Kaira along with the stortyline and the mess of CV. I watch Yeh rishta as it is the only show I am watching on Indian Television. I am from Bangkok btw.

Now coming to Yeh rishta, what make me think about the Chachu and Liza affair is that Akhil is 100% having an affair with Liza and that is proved. now my point is why the CV thought of an affair angle is when Surekha gets to know that her husband is having an affair it will be shown that she obviously would not want to stay with akhil anymore and will want to seperate, so that will I think somehow link to Naira and Kartik and Mihir affair angle because why all of a sudden will this akhil have an affair and that also with Naira's 5 years best friedn and not to know about Naira at all.
