Firstly, am I the only one who doesn’t like this new layout of India forums? Still navigating my way though the site.
Anyways...
Coming to the show, wth is happening?! One of the journalists reported that Star Plus is contemplating ending the show after 3000 episodes, and despite the ratings, I won’t be surprised if that happens. The writing is so poor.
What’s even happening in this track? Goenkas lose 500 crores in a day, the investors want their money back within 24 hrs, Kartik and Akhil who have been doing this business for years don’t know what to do, but investors are willing to listen to Naira, who prior to this has no business experience.
Okay let’s pause for a minute. If I remember correctly, Illa’s project had to with women empowerment. When Kartik got the first call, he said their project had something to do with mall construction, then they went to selling jewellery? How is jewellery related to women empowerment? Even if I give the cvs benefit of the doubt, how did they go from construction to selling jewellery in span of two episodes?
So Kartik fails to impress the investors, but Naira is somehow able to buy time? The cvs are really showing that Goenkas will recover 500 crores by selling jewellery, that too by organising a souq? Since when do the Goenkas design jewellery anyways?
Naira without any prior knowledge is designing jewellery for top designsers and business houses. That’s how talented she is.
Does the track really have to pitch Kartik against Naira? Why does Kartik have to fail to show Naira succeed? What has Akhil been doing for so many years in business when he can’t have one meeting with the investors?
Dadi and her jabs at Naira are getting so damn annoying. Her constant Kittu jhaap and family giving her a free pass for everything is making this show unbearable to watch.
Kartik has been reduced to nothing atm. He has no ambitions, no business sense. All he does is support Naira. I adore this about him, but I feel his character needs to do more. Why can’t he be shown finding a solution to the financial crisis?
Naira’s dance academy was something different, but the cvs probably don’t see that as a proper career. And the academy couldn’t be used to pitch Kaira against each other, so now Naira has been turned into a designer overnight.
Also, what’s up with new entries in every track? Apparently this new guy will fall in love with Naira as well. He’s such a bore, I have been skipping all his scenes.
The track seems like an amended version of joru ka ghulum track. Might be wrong, but anyways, the track needs to pick up momentun. Sadly, even the Kaira scenes don’t interest me right now. I hope if Kartik does feel insecure or jealous, Naira has the sense to realise it before it’s too late. If Kartik is expected to support Naira, then Naira should be expected to understand him as well before things spiral out of the control, leading to another separation.
This post is more like a rant. Sorry about that.
