The new promos do look adorable, but Kartik and Naira saying "We are pregnant" doesn't make any sense.

Naira is the only one pregnant and shouldn't they be saying "We are expecting" since both Kartik and Naira are expecting a baby???

It's a very common phrase used in the west. People have different opinions regarding its accuracy since physically speaking, girls are the ones who are pregnant, however, men do experience the nine months with their wives, hence the use of we.

I am just stating the two perspectives, not my personal opinion.

You are right.. We are expecting is the correct term.. because technically it's just one of them pregnant.. but I guess it's used in the west so people are aping it here as well.. it sounds weird in hindi.. hum pregnant hain.. 😆

We are expecting bolna chahiye tha if u ask me..
