Mrinal Singh to enter YRKKH

Mrinal Singh will soon enter Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus in a very important role.

Actress Mrinal Singh who debuted with Rajan Shahi's show Tere Sheher Main and was also seen in First Kut Production's web-series, Love Sex and Viagra will now enter the production's successful and long-running show on Star Plus, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.

Yes, you heard it right!!

Mrinal will essay the role of Ashi, the girl who would ultimately be chosen for Kartik (Mohsin Khan) by his family.

We hear that Ashi will be Dadi's (Swati Chitnis) chosen girl for Kartik and the family will contemplate getting them married. The two families would know each other for a long time, and Kartik and Ashi will be shown as best of friends. Initially, Ashi will step in to help Kartik resolve relations with Naira.

Ashi's entry will bring in lot many twists with both Kartik and Ashi being disinterested in the match.

As per sources, "Ashi will already have a boyfriend, and upon meeting Kartik, she will try to tell him that. However, Naira (Shivangi Joshi) will believe that Kartik has accepted Ashi in his life.

As for Ashi's character, she will be full of life, a stand-up comedian by profession spreading happiness to one and all.
