I disagree (to some extent it might be because I don't quite like Gayu) because that would have been unfair to Naira. Although Naira never voiced it, I think that somewhere in her hearth it was really important to her that Akshara be there for her. Any mother would want to be there for their daughter during a big day as is for Gayu and Naira. Although Cv's will not show it Akshara does probably love Naira more that Gayu because Naira is her daughter (one that she hasn't seen in years). That doesn't make her selfish it makes her human; If anyone should be complaining about not getting Akshara's love, it's Naksh.

Akshara wants to keep both girls happy. In last moment the timings changed so that both girls functions were too close together. As far as preparing for the different events, Naira's getting ready was going to take longer but Naira hadn't planned that her mom would be helping her. Due to short amount of time she needed help and her dress tearing caused a delay.

When Akshara wore white dress on Rose's wedding I thought that was wrong but here it was just the time schedule became tight and unexpected things happened that added to the stress.

Karthik was at least with Gayu as she was in a state of panic. He tried to build her confidence and calm her down. Gayu is also by nature little bit clingy when it comes to Akshara. (maybe because she doesn't have her own parents and Akshara makes her feel secure)

Akshara wants to patch up with Naira as she is craving the mother/daughter relationship.
Gayu sees that as a threat to her relationship with Akshara.
I sense that Gayu is always looking for ways to get Akshara's approval and acceptance so that she gets a mothers love.

Knowing Akshara, she will always try to do her best for both girls as she loves them both.

I've not watched the episode yet so m not gonna argue much about it but what I have read or seen on the seg I can say that Akshara fullfiled her part. With a lot of difficulties but still she reached there.

I think Akshara's parchaiy should have known her better and have faith in her. No one can pin Gayu's failure on Akshara... If the jewellery fell of then yes I would have said it was Aksharas fault,she was late and Gayu couldn't put it on securely but her jewellery broke off and for that Gayu is responsible. Her design was not up to mark and for that she has no one but herself to blame. Gayu may be an orphan but she has been fortunate that she isn't living a life of an orphan.She has always had the family support and love... I'm sure from school college every imp events she has got everyone's sole attention so maybe this once she can stop singing me me me.Naira has survived by herself all these years,Akshara has lost out on a lot from her own daughters life so this 1st big even in her daughters life is as important to Akshara as it is for Naira. Still Akshara gave her heart and soul to be there for both daughters so please give the woman a break.

Gayu needs to stop this bechari and Akshara's saya act and tell people what she really feels and thinks.

When a mother is responsible for two kids these things happen all the time.
Naira may show that she doesn't care for her mother or need her but at the end it was her mother that could only solve her issue at that moment. So Akshara told her to be quiet so that she could focus on getting her ready fast so as not to waste any time. Later I am sure Naira will realize her mothers value and thank her for helping her. The point of the scene was to make Naira realize that she can count on her mother. This will make Naira closer to her and that is important to progress their relationship.

Don't blame Akshara for neglecting Gayu because she didn't have any malicious intent.
Mothers are human and she tried to do best that she could given the unexpected issues that came up.
Did you expect her to just leave Naira when her dress torn? No mother would have done that. Had it been Gayu instead of Naira she would have done the same.

Worse come worse Gayu could have used any female family member that attended to wear the show stopper if Akshara didn't show up. In a fashion exhibit unexpected things happen all the time and it was a learning opportunity for her to be better prepared with a backup model next time around.

Your expectations are unrealistic. As a mom one day you will be faced with the situation of having to be two places at the same time meeting more than one persons needs then only you will understand.
There is really no point in commenting on this non issue any further.
