Heya everyone! 😊 im here with the discussion of the week (DOTW) for the 28th week of 2012.. i.e from 8th July till 15th July..😃 it's really been a long time since we had a nice discussion, isn't it?😃 So here i am with the topic of discussion for this week :

i would first like to say Akshara's dialogue here - samay kaise pankh laga kar udd jata hai..😊 abhi abhi toh we entered in 2012, and now, more than half the year has already gone! and it's really not just about this year, it's about several years that have gone by just like that!😊

we live in 21st century.. we have become so modernised, sky isn't the limit for us as we've already reached the moon, but tell me, have things back home really changed? even now, we hear about cases that gives us goosebumps, and appreciate God to have given us such a wonderful family and life..*touchwood*

nt many of us r really changed🤢 actually now for being modernised is just limited to being wearing short clothes n talking eng etc n is nt really related to mentality

many of you must have guessed it by now about the topic.. yess it's all about us, G3, Chiki and the stringent mindset..

first of all, let's all accept that there are people who are even worst than G3.. it would make our discussion a lot more easier..😊

agree g3 is nt worst...people r dere who r even more worse dan g3 ex rukmini...

in lieu of the above, here're some questions i'd like you all to answer..😊

1. is G3 really that bad?

i mean, inspite of all her inhibitions, she's still letting that little girl stay there, though most unwillingly.. also, she allowed her to give her a massage on her head at the behest of Bma ofcourse, but she did let her touch her..😲 no matter how much irritated she must have been, she's never said that girl to get out of the house.. she has always told everything to Bma.. it's a different thing altogther that Chiki overheard their convo..

when i hear about untouchability and castiesm, my heart goes out to those people who have suffered the wrath of society in yesteryears and even today..

here i dont praise g3 as agar uska bas chalta to she wud ve thrown chikki out but d only thing is ki uski sunvaai nhi ho rhi h🤣 akshara has brot dat girl home n dj n naitik r in full support of her isliye she has no say🥱 n jahan tak tel lagwaane ki baat h vo to g3 shayad girija se bhi lagwaa leti hogi😕

2. Chiki - i wonder what might have happened to that girl.. what's it that's stopping her from going back to her own home?

does she have a home? her parents? her siblings? if not, does the orphanage she lives in treats her with love?

i doubt so.. she seems to me as a girl with a dark past.. and looking at that, don't you still think G3 is a lot better when compared to those people who have compelled that little girl to run away?😊

agree g3 is better dan many others but u see if akshara n others tr nt dere na she is capable of making chikki run away frm ss also...her behaviour wid chikki has been too bad🤢

3. G3's mentality -

however she has been behaving is SICK..🤢

this is NOT the way you treat a child.. no matter how much i talk in favour of G3 by saying she's acting real and everything, i'd always accept that her mentality is wrong here.. if a person has found refuge in your house, you should respect it.. she has inherited this backward mentality from her ancestors, but im sure she's also inherited values related to 'Atithi Devo Bhavah' meaning 'Guest is God'.. if not for any other reason, she should atleast be nice to Chiki because she's a (unwanted) guest at their house..😊

what i want to ask is - can we hope to see a change in this stringent mentality in the future? love changes people in most unexpected of ways, and no matter how rude and unreasonable and everything she is, can we see a change in her for the better?😊

4. Bma - a lot here think Bma is finally getting a backbone.. i want to ask a thing, had Dj for once not allowed Chiki to stay in their home, would Bma still behave the way she's behaving now?

i believe she's abiding by her husband in this case rather than taking her own stand in this issue..

agree she has no opinion of hers...she is just blindly following her hubby...n i remember wen akshara left home due to nandini after sum daz she had realised ki mohit is d ritr person for nandu but still she dint utter a word

DJ - it's amazing how he was more conservative and strict than G3 but now has become one of the most loved characters in the show..😆

even at the time of Naksh's marriage when he refused to take Dahej from Vishambhar to saying'agar ladki hoti toh bhi itni hi khushi hoti' to keeping this suspicious girl in his house, i have always maintained though not really liberal, he's definitely not conservative!😊

Akshara - i must admit not many can think the way she can..😊

no one she is just sooo selfless dat no one can ever bcum😃👏

Daddaji and Akshara are perfect example of tuning between the two individual despite the generation gap..😊 in this fast paced world, when it's difficult to find even two peers thinking on the same lines, we know two people - though fictitious, with an age gap of almost 40-50 years thinking just the same..😊

1) acc to me g3's character is the most hypocrite in entire ss..😈 but still in chiki's case I think her behavior is justified..👍🏼 common now no normal person on earth will allow any random stranger to come n stay in their home specially looking at today's scenario.. (as hum kuch bhi accha karne jate hai log uska galat matlab hi nilakte hai) 😕 what if tomm chiki also turns up like mamaji's chorni daughter?? 😆 U never know so giving that much liberty all at ones is also not safe.. moreover no matter how much sympathize u get wid her but somewhere in ur heart u're afraid as to what could be her background?? 🤔 So best option is always taking help of police which naitik n g3 did.. unlike akshi jo sidha usse ghar hi le lai.. dumb girl

2) As per now i think chikki belong to some orphanage n hence her behavior eagerly crave for love n family..😕 But if u highlight real scenario "Duniya bahut jyada zalim hai" at times I feel we're really blessed to be surrounded by our near n dear ones.. coz looking at the current sour fact of our so called educated society I get goose bump wondering kaise kaise insane log hote hai duniya mein ?? 😲 I mean its completely thrilling to know what all people do these days especially lower class of our society' n worst if its a girl.. It keep amuse me to the core whenever I come across any such articles or related news..🤢 n if at all u're comparing g3 wid them then she can definitely be referred as angelic soul..😃🤣

3) in show u may see the change but in reality its very difficult to change a stringent mentality of a person who posses it especially orthodox ppl.. hum kisiki soch nahi badal sakte hai yeaahh we may persuade them for time being but cant change it completely as they will get back to square one n their original trail one day (just my opinion) '😉

4) to be frank Bma is as good as Maharaji..😃🤣 thanks to cvs they didn't explore her character as per the original script..🥱

Coming back to DJ well compare to erstwhile DJ i think it's a completely change in this character ever since its been replaced wid new n improved version.. infact these days i look forward for his character in the show as I use to do with dadi (vinitaji ) earlier..👍🏼 its really commendable whenever he gives GOOD piece of mind to Jaleli everytime she tends to suppress n offend akshi.. 👏 his love for kids (ananya, duggu n even chiki ) had increased beyond my imagination.. he appreciated akshi's efforts n agreed for her book launch.. hez more open to new ideas n support naitik to explore new ideas in business' he let akshi to name her own son n the most shocking was wen he agreed for wearing western cloths which akshi bought during picnic'😲😆 hats off to him I'm loving this sudden change in his character..😎

5) Well its quite natural even when 2 ppl doesn't thinks alike their tuning comes automatically with time.. 😉 all that matters is the way we make each other understand n thinks from each others perspectives... then generation gap is not the problem I think..😛 same is the case wid my father in law n me.. we both share close bonding of our respective ideology n at the same time respect each others thinking n hence we always like to consult each other before taking any decision.. so EFFORTS from both side can lead to such example very frequently..😃

6) This menace of our society can only be curbed through group efforts from government, celebrities, educated youth n lastly the almighty people of our nation together with the help of MEDIA.. (Today media is considered as the MOST powerful tool in educating billions of people together in a simple n thoughtful way..👏 like documentary movies or various case studies, articles n shows related n highlighting such issues) best example is set by Aamir khan in Satyamev jayate, also his film Tare zamen par prove to be a boon for all the schools , teachers n parents for the victim child.😊
