Part 1

It's a beautiful morning in the city of Mumbai the sun is rising the birds are chirping singing there melodious songs to wake up the sleepy town all in all everything looks perfect. The light dew on the green grass, flowers opening to the morning sun to take in the nutrients.. soon the city will be full and packed with people coming and going to work. Sigh… this is going to be a perfect day I just know it. You know how sometime you wake up in the morning and know it will be a day filled with excitement and joy…well yep that's what I feel today.

I admired the beautiful morning out my window when I heard my alarm go off… I couldn't get my self to go to sleep because I was waiting for today for almost a week now… so I thought I would admire the rising of the day and I'm glad I did. I glanced at the clock on my wall and panicked to see the time 7:15Am YIKES im going to be late.. I cant afford to be late for my first interview.. I rushed in the bathroom to get freshened up.. and take a quick shower.. Pulled on my outfit for the day and rushed down stairs to see my whole family gathered in front of the temple to pray… I slowly creped behind my brother and stood there not uttering a sound. The prayer was done I took blessings from my elders and rushed out the door in order to reach my destination on time and promising my family I will tell them everything once I'm back…

After all the yelling and pleading with the taxi driver and the traffic I finally reached my destination… Oberoi Empire!. I rushed inside and told the receptionist my information and was escorted to the waiting room… I waited for 10 measly minutes before I was called in the exclusive manager for design's cabin (Mr. Arun Oberoi) . I took a deep breath sent a silent prayed to god and knocked on the door.

May I come in sir… come in was all I heard… good morning sir I am…

Arun: Oh Ms. Akshara Maheshwari please be seated I was just waiting for you..

A: shocked to see such a young guy for a manager.. Smiles and sits down..

Arun: so how about we get the interview started. He took my file that I was holding as if my life depended on it and gave that to him.. I was trying to read his face while he was reading the file.. was he impressed not impressed… So why designing?

A: huh… I looked at him bewildered… he smiled at me and said don't be nervous I won't kill you… I asked why are you interested in designing and that to fashion designing… Oh.. well you see sir I feel that someone's clothes can really tell someone about them self's and there personalities.

Arun: but what if someone is not comfortable with lets say the modern fashion clothes but they are just wearing that to fit in..

A: the discomfort shows up on there face, no matter how hard they try to hide it. And I believe one should not be discouraged or afraid to unleash there discomfort when it comes to clothes and fashion. If someone is wearing clothes just to fit in I would really look down upon those people because I feel everyone has the right to wear and do what they want and so you should not be scared of anything.. you should live your life fearless…

Arun: hmm interesting.. so why should we hire you?

A: smile (feeling more confident in her self).. Because sir I believe that I can bring more innovative ideas and creations to this business, which will help the business reach at a different level a higher and successful level… it would also give me the opportunities to learn from experts like your self and also give me a chance to improve my skills in designing.

Arun: But you do know if you do get hired you will be working under me and you wont be called a designer.. you would be a semi designer.. and you will have to escalate upwards.. I nodded my head signaling I know.. ok one last thing if we hire you.. you will be working long hours and on weekends and you will have to give us new creations every other week. Will you be able to accomplish all the tasks and short notices given to you?

A: yes sir, I am a fan of fast paced environments, and I love challenges and new tasks it makes life more interesting…

Arun: hands back my file… alright we will call you tomorrow morning giving you the information on when and where to go for your orientation and training.. Congratulations and welcome to Oberoi empire.. I'm sure you will make all of us proud..

I was shocked beyond my own life was he joking or was I dreaming… when realization slowly drawn upon my tiny head I was way to excited to listen to anything and I guess Mr. Arun saw that and so he just smiled and told me I was free to go… Thank you so much sir.. im so happy and yes Sir I promised you will not be disappointed with my work..

Arun: good.. ( as I was making my way towards the door) oh Akshara one more thing.. Everyone in this company is like a family so we call everyone by there first name so please call me Arun no sir ok?

A: I smiled at him and nodded and stepped out of the cabin.. walked out of the building and jumped in glee…. Yippee I did it I did it I got the job in Mumbai's best designing firm yes…. And with that excitement I headed towards home…

Preview Natik's appearance and Naksh meet… will it be on a good foot or bad only I know that ( ok I lied even I don't know yet it depends on how I feel lol )

Hope you liked part 1 it came out shorter then expected sry :P

And I will give a more clear picture all the characters once Natik is introduced :D

If any questions then plz ask.. I mean I know I went from Akshara talking to her thoughts to her actions and it may have confused ppl so sry bout that.. but if you did get lost then tell me so for the next part I write it more clearly thnx…
