This is for Amandeep for her excellent portrayal of the spirited Purva wise beyond her years and yet with her gamine charm around Kartik

Nice thread Padma!

The writers messed up the Karthik-Purva-Nupur story quite badly. It never felt that they had any clarity regarding the trio's storyline.

Keeping that aside, Purva has been excellent as an individual character. Purva's character trajectory has been lovely. She's developed nicely and her arc has been pretty smooth. Credit to Amandeep for playing her so well.

Her maturity since her relationship with Karthik went public. It was stupid to fall for a married guy but then she restrained her actions and now totally Siding with family. Love that about her.

She's so pure! I am in awe of her, she's what she is. She says what she feels, she loves wholeheartedly, she takes care of everyone and she expects very minimal things in return , she's a gem

I feel Purva was the best character on the show after Prabhakar Sinha, even after the extra-marital affair she was portrayed in, she was just so grounded and moralistic, her pain and hurt, her confusion could be seen in her eyes and her face. 😊
