Many times it has bothered me to see how different and harsh Siddhant's realities are and how oblivious to it all Miss Anushka Reddy is. I feel a strong disconnect and it disturbs me.
No wonder we are not getting carefree romance, how can we? The only time Sid lowered his guard so to speak was when anushka was totally drunk and she kind of made him get carried away.
But throughout all of it, he has remained true to his love for her, That has been a constant and has weathered all this.
But yesterday's scene was a stark reminder of this disconnect when we see Anushka on the balcony with a sillyish and clueless smile plastered on her face while her father and the love of her life are in direct confrontation mode.
The Sinhas' lives are in danger here. Sid has now taken KK head on and as we know KK is dangerous as hell and totally focused on his ambition to reach the top no matter how, trampling everyone who comes on his way to the pinnacle of success.
And there you have Anushka who comes across as almost kiddish to me. Aren't they the same age? The difference between them is so so stark!!
It's high time the makers focused on her character and made her a woman of substance, and someone who thinks, who acts, who can take a clear stand, who can guide Siddhant and who will be his pillar of strength in this hour of need.
If this is not done immediately and IMO it's already rather late in the day, all we can get between Sid and Anu are friendly superficial scenes I am afraid.
