Anushkas's role ATM is that she their weak point and the only connect between Sidhant and KK..Niether she is dull or weal character in my opinion..She has alwYs been prettyfirm n what she has done..yes even when it came to her love for Sidhant as well..she gave him chances waited amd when he came she boldly told him how everything can not happen as per his choice..The only thi g which might make viewers feel that Anushka is looking a fool is just because she isnt aware of the truth and the irony of the situation is that they both dont want her to suffer in anyway..But I am sure soon she will be aware of the truth then only a new challenge a new struggle will begin for Anushka..I have apparently no conplaints from makers regarding her character

My problem with Anushka started when she was obsessed with her own affairs in her brother's wedding. The only time I sided with Nupur.. uski **ACTUAL** bidayi thi.. and this girl gatecrashes with a **speculative** bidayi.. poori shaadi mein usko apni shaadi ki padi thi. Trust me if it were Nupur instead of her, fandom would have trashed her left and right.

Padma, I have been saying the same thing over and over again, with you on so many LTs.

I know Sunita. We have been shouting ourselves hoarse but the Cvs don't seem to hear us.

I also find Nupur's anger reasonable. Why shouldn't she be worried about Srivastava image? And her brother? Just coz she is married doesn't mean she will suddenly care more for her Nanand of 3 months compared to her bhai of 30 years.

I find this whole partial anger projections very silly.

Yup I agree ...I remember few months back in one of his interview to a radio show ...I think...answering one question namit clearly said basically it's abt sidhanth and his journey how sidhanth believes changes and all...he also said yes there is a love angle and anushka and all but it revolve around sid...l...these words come from the actor itself ...so that's how it is written ...cvs focus on some particular characters ...rest of the characters r just present to fill up the screen space ...anushka being a female lead still get a good meaty role ...but look at other characters ...for e.g. Our favourite nidhi bhabhi and Srikanth ...there is no individual character development for them both the actors talent goes in vain...I know they are not leads but in a daily soap there are several tracks which in the end makes main lead story more interesting ...thats the problem with anushka cvs ne smooch liya tha anushka ka surf ai hi kaam ho ga ...sidhanth ...se pyar Karna ...yes ofcourse pyar kare but like In initial epi they showed anu is a classical dancer ...why they didn't explore this aspect of anu character .

Anushka's character has been shown as shallow and immature - all she wants is get married to Sid and be happy. She took a long time and waited for Sid to be beaten up, before reacting during the engagement!

We are talking here of the character in the story and not why the CVs have kept her that way, they want drama etc...

Atleast for me, so far she has been very disappointing as a female lead. For a person who claims to know Sid, she does not know him at all! Let us hope that she gets to know the truth fast and works with Sid. Sinhas life is in danger already...

Basically I think I will be happy with some more expressions from Palak.
