That is what I have also been thinking and wrote in another post too. The smile we saw in precap is temporary. Once he realizes that Anushka's happiness is with her family and him, he will be at biggest dilemma.

He needs to choose her this time at least, he has always been choosing everyone but her. In childhood too, he let her go, now again, he has let her go, this is the last time, if he lets lets her go again, I guess she'll be lost forever.
