Hey Guys,
Well I thought 'Detective Sinha' could wait because I got this really great idea.
The whole story will be from Anushka's POV and the first chapter is gonna be short. Do forgive me for the mistakes I make😃
Chapter 1: The First Time
I remember the day when I first met him, I always knew him, I mean when I officially met him, we did stay in the same apartment, but he was Mr Popular and I was Miss Nobody.
That day, he was standing in the bus as the bus was full. I was sitting next to my friend Kumud, her stop came by pretty soon. She said bye to me and got down.
I put my bag, on the seat next to me, I knew he was standing but I figured he wouldn't want to sit next to me. So I went back to what I do best, staring outside the window.
But well to my surprise, he came towards my seat and asked "May I?". I took a second to look at him. Well, I pretty much made sure that face was imprinted in my head.
I removed my bag and gave a slight smile. He sat next to me. I could feel the warmth as are arms touched each other.
We just sat, not one of us said a word, he looked forward and I looked outside, we were like a Km or two away from home. And my mind was killing me, one part of it was saying 'Say something, you idiot!' and the other part of my mind was like 'Don't say anything, you are an idiot!'
"So...How is the new school treating you?" I asked him, and right away my thoughts trembled 'shit! there is no turning back now'.
He gave a small smile and said "It Sucks! All we do here is study".
"I know right!" I said, then we went on ranting about how this education oriented school was so bad and how tenth grade was way better.
"Oh yeah I forgot to introduce myself, I'm Sidhant Sinha" he said , he put his hand forward and smiled, gosh that smile. And well I pretty much already knew that but I played along, "Anushka, Anushka Reddy" I said.
And well before we knew it, we were home. Home was my favourite place in the world. But, I felt sad that our bus ride got over already, I wasn't even sure if he would even talk to me tomorrow.
He was walking away, then I said "Wait Up!"
He stopped for me. And waited until I caught up. We walked towards our blocks, his block was only one away.
"You know I would've broke the ice but..." he said, and I looked at him confused, "But...?" I asked him.
"I wasn't sure you would actually wanna talk to me" he said, was he like serious, why wouldn't I talk to him. "I would've definitely talked to you" I told him. He gave a smile.
"By the way, you're block already passed by" he said, I didn't even realise that.
"Hey! Why didn't you tell me?" I asked him.
"Well It's your problem, I sure do enjoy the company" he said smirking at me.
"Uh! Great then I shall take my leave" I told him.
"Okay! See ya tomorrow" he said, walking into the lift.
"Yeah Bye!" I said and went towards my block.
I rang the bell to my house. My mom opened and gave me a grin and said "Who's the boy?"
