The show is doing great in all the departments as far as I am concerned. From screenplay, actors, arts, costumes, locations, background music, etc. The team work comes across very well. As a viewer, who is interested in seeing and understanding the narrative as presented by the makers, I don't think anything needs to be changed! It is perfect the way it is!

I think this show has created its own target audience who likes to see good content. It would be considered path-breaking, we want more shows to follow this pattern.
If it becomes melodramatic, we may not be able to accept it. In fact we have stopped watching other shows due to this one.

@ Buzz
In fact it's ONLY and ONLY because there is zero melodrama that I am watching this show.

No melodrama, no artificiality, no OTT nonsense.

So please disregard comments from such quarters however well meaning they may be.
Because if this changes this show will not be what it is, and that is PRICELESS in every way possible.

Oh dear, not at all! I love the show as it is, in fact, I love it so much because of how it is- sans melodrama or any OTT-ness.

Everything from the acting to the designing and the styling is so subtle and as close to reality as it can be without it being boring- it's beautifully done and I wish for it to stay the same.

The way the death sequence and funeral of Prabhakar was handled- I was in awe! It was beautifully handled. I didn't expect such simplicity from an Indian TV show where such sequences are usually filled with melodrama to no end. In fact, any sort of suspense or bad news on Indian TV usually brings along with it OTT music and exagerrated reaction but this handles it differently- with subtlety and that's exactly how I like it!

Take also the recent romantic scene for example- the dori tying scene, it was a classic romantic scene and risked being cliched, but the way it was done- without any heavy breathing female, without OTT camera work- made it stand out and look so wonderful!

I wrote too much 😆. But basically what I want to say is keep the show as it is- simple, subtle and without any melodrama as that's what pulls me and many others to this show.

Thanks for asking for our feedback. Please convey our appreciation to the makers of the show. Cannot tell you how refreshing it is to see subtle, relatable content. Echoing what everyone else has said, please don't include the OTT melodrama in this show.

Posting an article link and some excerpts below. Touches on the major grouses with Indian daily soaps. Am glad Sony is trying different things. Hope YPNTKH completes is run and keeps it real, like it does.

Are TV serials making us dumber or are they Pure Entertainment

We show what the people like to see'

One of the major arguments that TV producers always use to defend themselves is that they show what the audiences like to see. But our tastes are constantly evolving and we need something fresh. Also, making intelligent TV does not mean making ultra-modern' shows. Diverse shows with diverse backgrounds can be engaging and entertaining without being petty and repetitive.

...

And, you do not have to make it intense like 24, but anything that has a little bit of rationality attached to it is fine for us.
