Chapter 1:
After Prabhakars Heart attack:
Anushka and Siddhant were still standing apart and nothing was resolved between them.
Prabhakar was now stable but doctor has adviced him complete rest for some time and after that also to take everything lightly.
Since it was very hot in Delhi, KK had offered his farm house in Kullu Manali to Prabhakar to recuperate and he was now there with his wife and Purva.
Siddhant also wanted to be his dad but his work commitments did not allow him unlimited leave so he dropped them there , stayed there for one week and was now back in delhi.
Anushka had taken Prabhakars heart attack very badly and she had realized life was too short and Siddhant was very important to her and she wanted him to be in her life and was not sure how to do it. Her health had taken a toll for last few weeks and she had been not so keen on food from the time Siddhant went with his DAD.
Siddhant had also realized that life was too short and Anushka was important to him, and even if she was not part of his life still from now onwards he will be nice to her.
Siddhant home:
At 6 AM Siddhant got a call from Srikanth
Siddhant: yes Srikant
Srikanth: sorry yaar, come home by 7.30 AM. This new deal on news channel needs some changes. Lets wrap this today.
Siddhant: sure, I will be there.
Siddhant (muttering to himself): Seriously man, what was wrong with 9 AM. why I have to be there by 7.30 AM. (sighing) Anyways maybe I will meet Anushka
Reddy's home:
At 7 AM Rao served coffee to KK in the drawing room.
KK: Is Anushka still sleeping?
Rao (worried): Sir, she slept very late. The guard found her sitting in her balcony until 4 AM.
KK( sighing): yeah, I know. Don't know what is wrong? Doctors are saying emotional stress. She needs to relax. Maybe I should have sent her with Prabhakar to rest.
She is worse from the time Prabhakar went out of station. First Prabhakar, now Anushka. What should i do?
Rao: I will check if she is awake.
KK: let her sleep. I don't want her to come to office for few days. if she takes rest it would be good for her.
Rao left and Suddenly Anushka walked in..
Anushka: Good morning Appa.
KK: Anushka, why are you awake so early?
Anushka: I need to be with Srikant for the new deal meeting.
Srikant walked in.
KK: Srikant I told you to not involve Anushka in work now and let her relax.
Srikant: Appa, you tell her. She never listens to me.
KK: Anushka...
Anushka: Appa... I will get bored at home. Let me do some work.
(thinking: today Siddhant will come to office, I will meet him there)
KK: Ok but promise you will come home as soon as you don't feel well.
Srikant: Appa, I have called Siddhant here for meeting. He must be reaching anytime.
Anushka was surprised and then immediately left the drawing room...
Srikant:(calling) Anushka, where are you going ? You wanted to attend the meeting.. or not?
Siddhant reached Reddy house and entered the drawing room...
Siddhant: Good Morning...
(He kept on looking around)
KK: Good Morning Siddhant.. Are you looking for someone?
Siddhant: Srikant...
Srikant (irritated): I am standing here only...
Siddhant (surprised): Yes,... I meant lets go..
Anushka walked in... and looked at Siddhant... She was suddenly feeling at peace.
Siddhant looked at Anushka and was going to smile and then noticed the dark circles under her eyes and felt she had become very weak ...
He was suddenly very angry...
Siddhant: Do we have any fashion shows going on?
Srikant (bewidered): No.. why?
KK was also looking puzzled..
Siddhant (looking pointedly at Anushka): Then why is Anushka starving...
Anushka ( getting angry): I am not starving...
KK: She is not feeling well... So not eating properly...
Siddhant (turning to Anushka): Why dont you rest today?
Anushka ( really angry): I dont want to rest...
KK: Ok... lets eat breakfast and then you all can have your meeting
Siddhant and Anushka (at the same time): I am not hungry...
Srikant: I am... lets eat... you both can drink tea
KK: Come Anushka.. have fruits atleast
Everyone went to dinning room ... Karthik, KK's wife and Srikant wife also walked in and sat down...
Anushka sat next to Siddhant...
Rao walked in with servants and they started serving as per everyones demands...
Rao: Siddhant baba, here is your Masala tea...
Siddhant( surprised): Thanks...
Rao: Also, here is your paratha and curd.. Eat it.. You would have not eaten yet.
Siddhant (stunned): Thanks Raoji... there was no need to bother for me..
Rao (smiling): No problem baba
Siddhant was still puzzled.. until he saw Rao and Anushka smiling at each other...
He realized Anushka had told Rao to prepare Masala tea and paratha for him...
Karthik (taunting): Wow...
KK looked at Rao and pointed at Anushka...
Rao (hovering over Anushka): Anushka baby here is your fruit juice... Should I serve two idli for you?
Anushka (sighing): No .. I will have juice... maybe later...
Siddhant: yeah, she may get out of shape if she eats
Anushka (irritated):.. I can eat, I am just not that hungry Siddhant...
Siddhant (smiling): Don't lie.. you are not eating deliberately...
Anushka: I can eat...
Siddhant: I don't believe you..
Flashback:
At siddhant home His mom was serving paratha to Siddhant and Anushka was sitting there. Siddhant asked her to eat and she said she was not hungry.
Siddhant: Eat something ... or else you will be saying hello from Heaven in few days..
Anushka (angry): I am not hungry...
Siddhant: you are just lazy... don't want to chew paratha... that's why saying No..
Anushka: I can eat it... I am not lazy...
Siddhant: I will believe it when you eat it..
Flashback ends
KK: Are you guys done with the whole legal work?
Srikant: Yes, sort of...
Siddhant (interuppted): No we are going to complete it by today ..
KK: Ok, make sure it is completed today. Siddhant
Suddenly Rao looked at KK and then at Anushka
Anushka juice was untouched...
Flashback:
Siddhant had broken his paratha in small pieces and moved his plate towards Anushka ... She was eating paratha from siddhant plate slowly.
She ate two parathas...
Anushka: This is really heavy... I am feeling full
Siddhant( launghing): ..bhukkad... you ate two parathas.. what will I eat now... maybe I will eat you
Siddhant made a move towards Anushka
Anushka (laughing): first catch me...
She got up and ran towards his room ...
Flashback ends
Siddhant was drinking tea and had broken his paratha in small pieces and moved his plate towards Anushka and she was eating paratha from his plate slowly.
Rao moved to get another plate for siddhant but Siddhant stopped him. He didnot want Anushka to get disturbed and realize what she was doing and stop eating.
Everyone at table had stopped eating... and were watching Anushka eating as she had been only drinking fruit juice in the morning from last few weeks..
Anushka (suddenly stopped eating and pushed the plate): I cannot eat anymore.. its too much...
Siddhant (frowning): a bird eats more than you ...
Karthik: Atleast she ate something...
Srikant: yes.. true..
Rao: Anushka baby... juice ?
Siddhant (smiled): she wont drink juice...
Anushka looked at Siddhant and he looked at her
Anushka(yawning): yeah...I will.
To everyone amazement she had juice too..
Anushka got up...
Anushka: Anna, I will join you guys in the meeting room in 10 minutes
Srikant: sure
Anushka left the dinning room..
Raoji gave Siddhant a fresh plate to eat and served parathas.
KK: Siddhant... thanks.. she is not eating properly from some time and no amount of force changes her mind.
Siddhant: she must be feeling better.. she ate today ..
Srikant: Siddhant, why dont you eat here until your family is back...
KK: good idea Srikant... sure siddhant eat here only...
Srikant wife and KK wife did not like this.
Siddhant: I don't think ...
Rao (interuppted Siddhant): Siddhant baba, come for Anushka baby ...she started eating when you told her to eat..
Siddhant realized that was true and was worried about Anushka now ...
Siddhant: sure.. I will try..
Siddhant walked in the meeting room after breakfast. Srikant told him he will get the files and join him.
Siddhant was expecting Anushka to be already there as it was already 20 minutes and found her missing.
Siddhant (mumbling): Miss delicate, now where are you hiding?
Anushka walked in...
Siddhant: Thanks for the Masala tea and parathas
Anushka smiled.
Srikant came and the meeting started.
After sometime, Siddhant was making some point and turned towards Anushka and stopped talking..
Flashback:
Siddhant and Anushka were sitting in his room and studying...
Anushka was sitting on the bed and Siddhant near his study table ..
After some time Siddhant turned to check on her and smiled...
Anushka was sleeping in his bed...
Flashback ends
Siddhant found Anushka sleeping on the chair...
Srikant also turned and saw Anushka sleeping
Srikant (sighing): Sorry Siddhant, but I think she is catching up on her sleep .. she has been not sleeping properly for last few days. let me wake her and she will sleep in her room
siddhant: let her sleep, if you wake her, she may not sleep again. (mumbling to himself) I am used to doing my work while she is sleeping ..
