The pretty youngster from Chandigarh had her first stint as Rajkumari Bhairvi in NDTV Imagine's Raajkumar Aaryyan on television. Since then she's been on a number of TV shows and apart from daily soaps like "Chaand Ke Paar Chalo" and "Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam" she has also appeared on shows such as "Meethi Choori", "CID" and "Kitchen Champion"

Yami has been active in the south, her Kannada movie was called "Ullasa Utsaha" and her Telugu movie, which has been running successfully is called "Nuvvila" where she plays the role of a sweet, enthusiastic college goer in the movie and her acting has been appriciated by the critics.

Her other Telugu movie "Yudham" is awaiting release and her Bollywood Debut movie, called "Vicky Donor" is already creating a buzz among cinegoers. Paired opposite ex-VJ Ayushman, she is portraying the role of a Bengali girl in the movie.
Apart from these, Yami has also done scores of commercials for Mirinda, Pizza Hut, Various Jewelleries,KFC, Dinesh suiting and shirtings with Gaurav (her co star from Yah Pyar Na Hoga Kam) ...Yami's most popular commercial that landed her the lead role in Vicky Donor - The Fair and Lovely ad.
