Well, for Abeer this is more than just an attraction, and the way Leher kept looking at him, etc...he must have assumed that she felt the same way towards him as he did towards her.

Happy-go-lucky guy, but he too does have feelings. The incident between the 2 families is why Leher doesnt want to get into anything with Abeer, even though she knows that her feelings too for the guy run a little deeper than attraction.
Sometimes, there are feelings that are there, but then you dont realize it till u are told in your face that there is no hope....that is what Leher did to abeer....he knew what he felt and she also knew that there is something more than just attraction, but when she told him that all those feelings that were being portrayed in the form of a friendship, had to be supressed/put an end to, thats when the enormity of the situation struck him.

loved your take on the epi sssiham
and yes its just a matter of them realazing it to be love and Leher is right in her own way
coz this relation will only put her family at risk of humiliation at the hands of Boodha or TN
and she definitely wouldn't want that

A sad end, indeed, Hina. I was hoping they would be interrupted by someone. But that would have been too anti-climatic.

Why did they have to have a drunk act on this show??

I loooved the "Tu Jaane Na" song playing in the background .. moreso since it was the Kailash Kher version. It brought out Abeer's pain and intensity very well.
I especially loved the line where in the song it says "jaane teri aankhein thi yaa baatein thi wajah" ... loved the shots of Leher they used! One, when the dupatta goes flying over to his side and he sees her .. Second, again the terrace scene when they are stranded and she laughs over his 'monkey cap' 😆 Both shots Leher looked so pretty and such a lovely girl .. no surprise that Abeer fell in love with her! 😳

oh Eksie I couldnt agree more
those were my fav scenes too ,loved the 'batien thi wajah' bit ,brought an instant smile on my face 😃
though the song or the llyrics weren't much relevant later,it just played while Abeer got drunk and we could care for the lyrics then anyway...

the man took in all in one breath,(experience ni tha na daaru ka ) I felt the pain Abeer !
same with the egg scene ,when he just wanted to prove his point and kept gulping the pieces painfully...

Same here Hina .. that shot of Leher turning around and laughing at Abeer .. was sooo cute!!
I absolutely loved the song .. and the lyrics were quite relevant too! Which part did you think they were not as relevant?

umm the bit where it goes " hue na bigane bhi tum hoke aur ke" its nothing big like I said we were too busy crying with Abeer when it gies afsos hota hai,dil bhi ye rota hai, sapne sanjota hai..."
man it was painful ...

I used this song in my pre AbHer FF and must have heard it a hundred times then :)

Lol yeah .. true .. I was too much in pain myself to really think too much about the relevance. I just about loved the entire sequence .. I thought it was the perfect song to use in the situation 😊
