Would it not be better to let the CVs know we are not liking this characterisation of Abeer? May be they can change immediately.

I read somewhere that scenes are written the day before. If they have written scenes of Abeer crying and being depressed, we have to alert them immediately😆

Girls, its pretty okay for a guy to have different characteristics. he cannot be happy and carefree all the time, that would be unrealistic. here is a guy, deeply attracted/in love, and the girl in denial - and he's all the more insecure becoz of the family situation. so, its okay (except for someone 2-3 bottles of beer in one go - assuming that he was a teetotaller until now, i think its normal for a young guy to go through all this - he's just 20-21 after all!!

The way he was doing that was so arrogant, oh no I am so starting to hate this guy, GK please recommend the CVs to turn Abeer's character to a bit sensible person (don think he can do that😛)
A couple of days back I was in total awe of this character, now I feel awful even to look at him.

i was also thinking the same.i mean not even their friendship part was well shown than how can tis love busines sundly strikes their mind.its disgusting.till now rashmi & madhav stuffs ere going on & nw suddenly confession.ok,abir always sowd interest in leher so his confession cn be justified bt than y was leher crying denying his proposal.they never even thought bout each other and this love feeling.ipl ke chakar mein serial barbad kar dalo. 😕

was discussing today's episode and the reaction on the forum with hubs.
To my surprise he felt Abeer's reaction was quite reasonable especially when u take his age into consideration. He also quoted a couple of real life examples, here the individuals were older than Abeer😲, that was a total shocker. I do not sympathize with Abeer but maybe the CVs are not way off the line here, they have done their research I guess.
I wanted to know a guy's perspective ( a matured, well read individual) on the issue, so guess there are people who react similarly to a rejection. But in most cases it would be a temporary resort (the drunken thing) and people get back to their senses eventually. Hoping Abeer miyan redeems himself.
Usually when one feels very strong for something but is unable to achieve it, this desire turns into obsession, especially for a strong minded (or weak minded ?) individual...here Abeer's desire would be Leher's love (attention?). The bigger question is how did the desire get so strong in the first place without his knowledge, now that's a story that has been beaten to death here....😊, for which the answer is with the CVs.

Kim ,I'm glad you posted this and i can feel the strong AbHerness in us ,coz we're all trying to see some good in todays epi...
your husband's point does clear a few doubts... I have seen and witnessed individuals react this naturally and Abeer's reaction was justified to a certain extent ,the drama perhaps was needed to attract attention and I see it working already
we've had new or usually silent members speak up, good or bad is a different issue but we see the interests rising and people being vocal with their views and i'm sure that new viewers will continue to watch ...atleast till this new twist is resolved....

Thanks for that male perspective via your hubby. I have to ask my husband. Still have an uncomfortable feeling about the way Abeer was depicted. Saw the AbHer scene Arnab posted. Up until 3.45 min or so, it was o.k. Abeer asking her what did he do wrong, and she saying that it is not about wrong, but no future rishta can be imagined etc. Abeer even says he has got the answer from her teary eyes etc... Then suddenly, he is like 'are you not in love with me'? That was not needed. They should have stopped with the questioning and the two separating... and then the following episodes could be about how the two will get together.

LTL, in my view, is doing well because people want to see how this Datta character will fall in love with Nakusha. I haven't watched a single epi but know the story. Same thing could have been done here, without all the filmy jhatkas like dhol-playing, drinking etc... People will watch to see how Abeer and Leher come together, irrespective of drink and stuff.

Will see what the TRPs are like. Me thinks these dramatic things wudn't make much difference. Hopefully I am proved wrong. Bcos I want this show to do well.

Someone commented on another thread about how Abeer randomly drinks alcohol given to him by someone... this is Holi in their mohalla, right? Why would anyone given daaru to Abeer Bajpayi? CVs have to be more careful.
